KINGSTON BEGINNINGS [ Kingston, Ontario, Canada || May 19, 2912 ]
The lights turn on in the small Kingston, Ontario arena, and the fans begin to file in. A small draw for a first show, which is understandable for a new promotion’s first show. The ringkeeper makes his down to the ring and assumes his position at ringside. The arena hushes and ‘Back in Black’ by AC/DC hits the arena. Owner Kent Sandler walks out from behind the curtain to a wide variety of cheers from the fans. He makes his way down to the ring before climbing into the ring, microphone in hand.
He welcomes the audience to the show before stating that the goal of ECPW was not only to bring wrestling to eastern Canada, but also to bring a taste of the west coast to ECPW. With a confused reaction from the audience, he assures them that only good things will come from this and thus states the first rule of ECPW: Anything is legal in the ring, outside interference is not.
With that, a small pop comes out of the audience and ‘Back in Black’ hits the arena as Kent salutes the fans and heads backstage.
After a few moments pause, Carter Murphy makes his way out from behind the curtain with no music to the ring to a mostly positive reaction for being the hometown boy.
DA NA NA NA NA NAAAA… DA NAA NAA!
“Mother Russia” by Iron Maiden hits the arena and Aleksander Kuleshov makes his way to the ring to a slight boo – Canadians never really liked Russians anyway. He rolls into the ring and the bell rings, signaling the beginning of the match.
Singles Match Carter Murphy vs. Aleksander Kuleshov Right from the get go, Kuleshov dominates Murphy with his MMA background, utilizing takedowns and small submissions to wear Murphy down. About five minutes into the match, Kuleshov makes easy work of Murphy, locking in the Gogoplata for the win! Winner via Submission: Aleksander Kuleshov
After the match, Kuleshov stands victorious in the ring, pinning the hometown boy Carter Murphy to the ground with his foot. He is met with boos as he leaves the ring, raising his hands in victory and enticing the crowd speaking in Russian.
Carter Murphy eventually makes his way backstage, selling the effects of the Gogoplata.
Then, “Perfect Strangers” by Deep Purple hits the arena and Bart McClure makes his way out to the ring to a neutral reaction from the crowd. He rolls into the ring and awaits for his opponent: Harlee Estepp.
“Cinderella Man” by Eminem hits the arena and Harlee makes his way out from behind the curtain, looking as confident as one person can, which is met with boos from the crowd. He slides into the ring and the bell rings, signaling the beginning of the match.
Singles Match Harlee Estepp vs. Bart McClure A show of talent between the two wrestlers shows off both of their technical abilities, an equal bout highlighted with Harlee Estepp planting McClure on a steel chair with the “Royale Finale”, covering McClure for the three count. Winner via Pinfall: Harlee Estepp
After the match, Estepp continues a beat down on McClure, before being stopped by the referee. He heads backstage to boos from the crowd, leaving McClure in the ring. He sells the effect of the beatdown before heading backstage.
Following that, “Black Metal Bicycle” hits the arena and Chris Cutter makes his way out from behind the curtain. He walks to the ring, mostly ignoring the fans but takes a moment to make fun of a certain few sitting at ringside. He slides into the ring before his theme music is replaced by “Ace of Spades” by Motorhead.
Ryan Sandler sprints down to the ring and slides in, eyeing down Cutter on the opposite side. His theme music is replaced by “One Big Holiday” by My Morning Jacket as Tommy Staxx makes his way out from behind the curtain and walks down to the ring, with a confident smile on his face. He rolls into the ring and after a few moments of the three men staring each other down, the bell rings and the match is on!
Three-Way Dance Chris Cutter vs. Ryan Sandler vs. Tommy Staxx A high paced match featuring two WCWA alumni and Tommy Staxx. For awhile, Cutter goes haywire with a Singapore Cane, almost taking off the heads of both Sandler and Staxx. Taking the time to roll out of the ring and set up a table that spans the distance between the metal guard rail and the ring apron, he rolls back in onto to be superkicked by Tommy Staxx! Cutter goes down like a sack of hammers and goes for a cover, which Chris Cutter dramatically kicks out at a 2. The finish of the match comes when Sandler back body drops Tommy Staxx out of the ring and through the table on the outside of the ring, sparking a “HOLY SH*T!” chant from the crowd, and Sandler going for a cross body on Cutter, only to be countered into a rollup, and with help from Sandler’s tights, Cutter gets a 3 count! Winner via Pinfall: Chris Cutter
Cutter quickly slides out of the ring and gets on the microphone and cuts a short promo, saying that he is going to be the first ECPW Champion, and tonight was only the beginning to prove why he truly is a ‘Cut Above the Rest’.
“Black Metal Bicycle” hits the arena again and to a chorus of boos, Cutter exits the ring and heads towards the back. Ryan Sandler sits in the ring, disappointed at the loss as he heads backstage, shortly followed by Tommy Staxx.
Then, “Intro” by The XX hits the arena and Mike Adams makes his way to the ring with a short pop from the crowd. He slides in and his music is replaced by “Moment of Clarity” by Jay-Z. ELI makes his way down to the ring to a slight boo from the audience. He climbs the steps and steps into the ring, and the bell rings!
Singles Match Mike Adams vs. ELI A match put together to show the talents of both wrestlers, going about 60/40 in ELI’s way. Mike Adams does all that one can possibly do to try to take down the big man, including using the ring bell, but can’t manage to keep ELI down for the three count. The finish comes when ELI hits a MASSIVE lariat on Mike Adams, keeping him down for the three count. Winner via Pinfall: ELI
Post match, ELI simply makes his way backstage, having proved his talent. Mike Adams follows suit shortly, to a small cheer for the audience. The ring announcer announces that the main event is up next, as “Blackbird” by Alterbridge hits the arena and Jack Joseph makes his way down to a pop from the crowd.
His music is replaced by “Live and Learn (Remix)” by Crush 40, and Justin Tyger makes his way down to the ring, with yet another pop from the crowd. The two men oppose each other across the ring, waiting patiently for their two other opponents to arrive, as “Over and Under” by Egypt Central hits the arena and Ace Bennett makes his way to the ring to a cheer from the crowd.
He stands on the outside, cautiously getting into the ring. “Over and Under” fades out and is replaced by “Don’t You Think this Outlaw Bit’s Done a bit Out of Hand?” by James Hetfield as Buddy Blackjack makes his way down to the ring to boos, drowning them out to himself by ringing his cowbell on his way to the ring. He slides in, placing his cowbell on the timekeeper’s table, and the bell rings!
Four-Way Dance Jack Joseph vs. Justin Tyger vs. Ace Bennett vs. Buddy Blackjack The main event absolutely brings the house down. Full of spots left and right, highlights of the match include Buddy Blackjack using his cowbell to erupt a chant of “NEEDS MORE COW-BELL! *clap, clap, clap clap clap*”, Jack Joseph doing a somersault plancha from the ring apron to take all three men out inside the ring and Justin Tyger and Buddy Blackjack brawling in the front row. But while the brawl in the front row happens, Jack Joseph boots Ace Bennett hard in the gut before running up the ropes and delivering a Pele Kick from the top rope, dubbed the “Breathtaken” to get the three count! Winner via Pinfall: Jack Joseph
Post match, Buddy Blackjack and Justin Tyger continue to brawl in the stands, eventually brawling with each other backstage. In the ring, Jack Joseph extends his hand to Ace Bennett, who snubs him and heads backstage, leaving Jack Joseph in the ring to end the first ever ECPW show.

BOOOOOOO. lol The first show was a good one, capped off nicely by the main event. This is the first sign up that I've introduced the split personality gimmick into, so I can't wait to see what you do with that. Enjoying the characters of ELI and Chris Cutter right now also, excited to see what you do with them. Good first show overall, introduced some of the characters well. Hopefully we can see more promos to get to know the other characters as well.

Really great first show, and not just because Joseph went over, even though it is a pleasant change and it's nice to see my character finally at the top of a promotion! The main event was phenomenal!

A great first show with a nice and simple layout. It seems the Main Event scene is pretty much set in every Sign-Up haha, but it's good to see Jack with a win. Please to see the Kuleshov storyline kicking off, tearing apart the local talent. In terms of realistic booking though, a squash match of that kind would probably be better off as the second match rather than opening up, but that's a very minor thing to bring up. Keep this sort of quality up and this will definitely be a success.

Man I love ELI, he always gets a good push. Your write ups are really nice and well writ. Personally I'd add a logo, but thats just me. Loving the main event. Blackjack is such an awesome character and the cowbell chant is equally as amazing. A feud with Tyger would be great. Just keep this up and you've got yourself a great diary. Good luck.

ECPW News
- Reports are coming from those close to ECPW and Kent Sandler that the first show was very well received.
- Plans for touring Eastern Canada have been suspended temporarily, as Kent Sandler believes that building up a fan base in one city before expanding, so more Kingston shows should be expended before making treks to Manitoba and/or the Maritimes.
- The card for the second show should be posted soon, a tournament to crown the first ECPW Champion is in the works. May not see light at the second show, but may be expected on the third or fourth show.

Good decision staying in one place for now to build a fan base. I look forward to the second show and presumably my ECPW debut.

Ouch, ELI. Should be a good match though, despite a loss for Ace looking evident. I dunno, I think Ace stands a chance of winning it. Interesting putting Ace against Eli so early on. Would have expected ELI to have squash matches for a bit but I'm looking forward to where your going with this.

FEAR AND LOATHING IN LIMESTONE CITY [/b] [ Kingston, Ontario, Canada || May 26, 2012 ]
For the second Saturday in a row, the lights turn on in the small Kingston arena and the ECPW fans file in, the crowd substantially growing. The wrestling ring remains empty as the timekeeper and the referee make their way down to the ring.
At about 8:00 PM, “Ace of Spades” by Motorhead hits the arena and Ryan Sandler sprints to the ring, getting a decent pop. He slides in and stretches against the ring ropes as his theme music is replaced by “One Big Holiday” by My Morning Jacket as Tommy Staxx makes his way down to the ring, taunting with the crowd on his way down. He climbs the steel steps and awaits the final man in the match, Harlee Esteep.
“Cinderella Man” by Eminem blares over the PA and Harlee makes his way out onto the ramp to a chorus of boos sung by the audience. He quickly makes his way down to the ring, and slides into the ring. All three men pace around the ring, before the bell rings and the match is on!
Three-Way Dance Ryan Sandler vs. Tommy Staxx vs. Harlee Esteep A very exciting match to open up the second ever ECPW show. Highlighted by the high flying antics of Ryan Sandler, who attempted many falls to get his first ever win in ECPW, who absolutely clocks Tommy Staxx with the ring bell late in the match. Sandler rolls back into the ring with the ring bell to inflict similar damage on “Mr. Amazing”, but is quickly put down with the “Simply Amazing” Jumping Cutter, pinning Sandler for the 3 count. Winner via Pinfall: Harlee Esteep
Post match, “Mr. Amazing” celebrates and heads backstage, shortly followed by Ryan Sandler and Tommy Staxx, both selling their injuries to the fans.
The Toronto, Ontario native Tyler Deacon makes his way to the ring to no ring music and slides into the ring. After a short pause, “Mother Russia” by Iron Maiden blares over the PA system and Aleksander Kuleshov makes his way to the ring slowly, eyeing down his opponent. He climbs the ring steps and enters the ring and the bell rings!
Singles Match Tyler Deacon vs. Aleksander Kuleshov A complete squash match. Deacon is dominated throughout the entire match before Kuleshov locks in the Gogoplata for the win. Winner via Submission: Aleksander Kuleshov
Post match, Kuleshov raises his arms in an MMA-styled celebration before heading backstage, ignoring the fans. He is followed slowly by Tyler Deacon, who gets a round of applause from the ECPW audience.
Then, “Intro” by XX hits the arena and Mike Adams makes his way out to the ring to a positive response from the audience. He rolls into the ring and awaits his opponents, the debuting Nathan Gust and Bart McClure.
“Perfect Strangers” by Deep Purple replaces the XX song and Bart McClure makes his way to the ring to a couple of boos. He rolls into the ring and stretches on the ropes as his theme fades out.
“Hold it Against Me” by Ben Salhany ft. Adonia hits the arena and Nathan Gust makes his way out from behind the curtain, his companion steel chair held in his hand. He makes his way down to the ring and rolls in with his chair as the bell rings!
Three-Way Dance Mike Adams vs. Bart McClure vs. Nathan Gust A very fast paced match, with all three men getting a fair bit of offense in. The debuting Nathan Gust looks good as well, decimating everyone in the ring with his steel chair for a few moments before being stopped by Mike Adams. The finish of the match comes when Gust clocks Bart McClure with the steel chair, before turning around into a Spinning Heel Kick from Mike Adams, sending “Chewbacca” right into Gust’s face. Adams takes this time to scale the top rope before hitting Gust with a Bomb Threat to get the 3 count. Winner via Pinfall: Mike Adams
Post match, Adams celebrates with the audience for a brief moment before heading backstage. Bart McClure makes his way backstage, disappointed. Nathan Gust freaks out in the ring, throwing his chair around the ring before finally heading backstage.
“Over and Under” by Egypt Central his the arena and a nervous looking Ace Bennett makes his way out to the ring. He rolls into the ring, interacting with the audience for a brief moment before his theme music is cut out by “Moment of Clarity” by Jay-Z and the big monster himself, ELI makes his way out to the ring. He climbs the ring steps and steps into the ring and the match begins.
Singles Match Ace Bennett vs. ELI A very technical match. Ace Bennett uses strikes to bring ELI down to the ground before using submission moves & a steel chair to try to end the match. However, ELI is too strong as he mounts a comeback and ends the match by delivering a Musclebuster on Ace Bennett for the 3 count. Winner via Pinfall: ELI
Post match, ELI simply heads backstage, and after a few moments of Ace Bennett selling the effects of the Musclebuster, he snaps and begins to attack the referee before security hits the ring to restrain Bennett. As they carry him backstage, he yells at the fans and on a rare occasion spits in their direction. The security crew eventually gets Bennett backstage, as the referee, startled gets back up in the ring.
Then, “Live and Learn (Remix)” by Crush 40 hits the arena and Justin Tyger makes his way down to the ring to a huge pop. He makes his way to the ring and rolls in, awaiting his opponent, Chris Cutter.
“Black Metal Bicycle” by Cancer Bats hits the arena, and Cutter makes his way down the ramp, microphone in hand. As soon as he hits ringside, he calls for the music to be cut, and delivers a promo, stating that the “old blood” of professional wrestling like Justin Tyger isn’t good or fast enough to keep up with Cutter, and makes the bold claim to proclaim himself as ECPW’s first Heavyweight Champion.
Tyger calls for Cutter to ‘bring it on’, and Cutter slides into the ring and the match is on!
Singles Match Justin Tyger vs. Chris Cutter A very exciting match. The clash of styles between Tyger and Cutter don’t do much to hinder the match as both men get an equal amount of spots in. The finish comes when Tyger goes for a clothesline but misses, giving Cutter a chance to use a schoolboy rollup on Tyger, and using the ropes for leverage, gets the three count! Winner via Pinfall: Chris Cutter
Post match, Cutter gets the hell out of dodge, yelling “I told you so!” up the ramp to a sea of boos from the audience as Tyger complains to the referee, who simply shrugs his shoulders, saying that he didn’t see Cutter using the ropes for leverage. Tyger eventually makes his way backstage, shaking his head. The audience gives him a well-deserved round of applause, as he salutes the fans before leaving.
Then, “Blackbird” by Alterbridge hits the arena and Jack Joseph appears from behind the curtain to a huge pop from the fans. With a huge grin on his face he makes his way down to the ring, and slides in.
His theme music is replaced by “Don’t you Think this Outlaw Bit’s Done Got Out of Hand” by James Hetfield, marking the entrance of Buddy Blackjack, who makes his way down to the ring, cowbell in tow. He climbs the ring steps and the bell rings, signaling the beginning of the match!
Singles Match Jack Joseph vs. Buddy Blackjack A very even match, both men getting spots in, with Jack Joseph taking control near the end of the match. He knocks Blackjack down to the mat, using a garbage can as his weapon of choice, before climbing the ropes, going for a high flying maneuver. He taunts the crowd, and just as he is about to leap from the top, he is showed off the top rope and through the ringkeeper’s table by Ace Bennett!! The crowd boos furiously as Bennett continues the assault on Jack Joseph, whipping him into the guard rail and continuously beating down on him. He throws him into the ring and applies the Syracuse Lock, as Joseph taps the mat in pain, but Bennett doesn’t let go!
He eventually does let go however, as he spots Justin Tyger sprinting down the ramp to the aid of Jack Joseph. He slides into the ring and begins to give Ace Bennett strikes, knocking him to the mat before planting him in the ring with the H50!! The crowd goes wild as Bennett rolls out of the ring and Tyger checks on Jack Joseph to end the second ever ECPW show.

What another great show! Glad to see my guy pick up another win. Just a little error in the name is all, his name is Estepp not Esteep but I understand your confusion.
