Never seen E11 Punk in stores so i really want this one love the shirt, just got E14 Rock so i'll pass on his new one...

Previous few lines always had a minimum of 2 figures I wanna get...
E12 - Kane, D Bry and Del Rio
E13 - Ziggler and Rhodes
E14 - Rock and Booker T
E15 - Mark Henry and Sin Cara
But E16 is just bad. I was cursing when I saw The Rock with Goatee announced in E16 just hours after I bought the E14 one, but now I'm glad I did. That goatee is just horrible.
Orton actually looks good imo. I might replace my E2 one with that. I hated the E9 and E12 headscans. Altho the red paint on the face is so ugly. Damnit.
I got a basic Zeke at the same time as my E14 Rock, so I was pissed that he's in E16 as well. Body Scan and Tights are awesome, but I hate the smiling headscan. Smiling giants just seem freaky. Imagine Great Khali giving you that kind of smile. Gross. Might like the belt tho, since my VAC one is now silver.
Heath Slater is a jobber, so pass.
Diesel looks good, but don't collect legends, so pass. Hopefully there's a updated one soon.
CM Punk. Now, I missed out on the E11 one, and I would have added this to my collection. But the headscan is completely out in my opinion. I love the E11 headscan a lot more than this headscan. I assume there'll be a new punk in the next few months, so I'll pass on this as well.
E16 is totally off for me, and I won't be getting anybody for sure.

For weeks I have been kicking myself in the a$$ for not getting this set and now I am glad that I didn't. I understand what they were doing for CM Punk but that attire is boring. I'll probably end up getting a B18 figure of him and just swapping heads with my E11 for now.
I sculpted a Goatee on my E14 Rock and it looks like I'll be sticking to that one too. Sorry Mattel, but mine is better. I also thought Mattel said they were no longer making that IC Title. I hope this is just a proto and we get the shiny one but if we don't no big deal, nice Zek figure anyway. I will def get Slater, Nash, and Diesel.

looking back at e11 Punk, the paint apps on the tights are weak.
e16's paint apps are much more vibrant and clean and full looking
e16 punk is awesome.
i love how vogue it has become all of a sudden to trash it.

While the set overall isn't bad (and I use that lightly), it's clear to see that everyone is, for the most part, split down the middle but let's just hope that the MDT comes to their senses by SDCC and fixes the obvious errors...specifically The Rock's extremely amateur goatee (+ other unforgivable design flaws)

These are PROTO pictures, remember. It's obvious by the fact there isn't even a Nash. I can't imagine they won't fix the Rock for the final product. I ordered the whole set, and I'm happy with it. I really love the head scan for Zeke, which is a figure I wasn't excited for. Glad I ended up getting everyone. Like I believe Coon said, if they don't fix the Rock, I'll easily hock him on eBay and make a few bucks off him. Thanks for sharing the pictures!
Though, any chance MDT will pop in and clarify anything? Like, where Nash is at and the goatee situation?

I ordered Slater and Punk along with NWO Savage so i'll be getting them in July. Lots of careless mistakes in this series so i won't be looking too hard to find the others. One thing though, if Punk is based off his MITB appearance why does he have a full beard? was he not clean shaven at the event with a bit of stubble?

I'm really hoping its a bad camera because a lot of the figures look more like customs.. diesel better not have differnt skin color.

Orton: Orton is Orton. The headscan saves the figure but to be honest there's been too many of him for me to even consider copping him unless I get rid of my e12 figure.
Zeke: Zeke is awesome, shame they didn't give him a shiny IC title, I mean he has no shirt or anything so I don't see how a shiny belt would've hurt. Love his new body mold, and if that's the reason why he didn't get a shiny title, then SMH, lol.
Slater: Slater looks good, his tights are really detailed and I'll consider copping because my jakks tall ladders all broke. lol. Love the ladder.. mattel needs to put more weapons in the elite sets!
Punk: Punk, well, I like the figure and I'll cop simply because I love the shirt and the attire. I'll probably display him loose with the shirt on because the paint is too bright for my taste. I could probably acetone it off and put on one of deals cm punk chest tats. The headscan is wrong too lol. He had a clean shaven face at MiTB
Rock: Now, I'm a HUGE Rock fan, I have almost every figure mattel made of him (except his rumblers and flexforce fig). I'll cop this figure no doubt, I think it's great, I love his attire though the choice of accessories was a disappointment. I was hoping for a cloth material shirt like Punk's for the team bring it shirt and maybe pants like from his DM figure. The beard isn't too bad, I can touch that up. I hope his next figure is updated with a bigger body mold, he's huge now. This mold is too much like how he was in 2001-2004

I hope Nash doesn't disappoint... 8/10 set

Will definately get Diesel just because I have always wanted an Elite Diesel/Nash and also Zeke, might do a head swap for the basic Zeke tho!

What are yall talkin bout SDCC?  Comic Cons in 2 months. These come out next month. hmmm. I either hafta see better pics, or just get these in my hands. Cuz I'm not so excited now that i've seen them. When i'm starting to think an Ezekiel Jackson (a wrestler I loathe) figure is the best in a set. There's a problem. I swear if Diesels vest, Slater's tights and Zeke's body mold didnt looks so good. I would think these were customs/fixups |

Yeah, Punk should've really had a rubber shirt, so they could put the BITW and the date on the back - which was the main reason behind him having that shirt, to begin with.
