Hey, I was wondering if the first iPod Touch could be able to catch a virus. thanks! not gonna lie, I legit LOL'd but yeah there are ways the the 1st gen Ipod can get viruses if you don't clean it every once in a while it will get corrupted and there's no way to fix it |

They can but I know for a fact hackers won't target the oldest generation, They'll go for the new ones cause more people would have them. They'd also attack phones because there's more likely personal info that could help them steal your identity.
So yes but no. There's really no need to worry about a virus on an iPod that old.

But still it's not going to damage it if you don't do that. I've had my 2nd gen iPod for a few years and I haven't upgraded it since I jailbroke it and that was a crap load of versions ago. 2.0.1 I'm pretty sure my Firmware is on it :X |

@joestacos2. LOL. How do you 'clean' an ipod? by using kleenex wipes, 70% rubbing alcohol, and Cotton Balls 1st take a kleenex wipe and Cotton Ball and coat it with in the 70% alcohol 2nd wipe the said Ipod with it for 30 minutes |
