I think they put stuff up at random times and only a few figures of each at a time and then put them back up a different time or day to prevent scalpers from buying up everything at once. At least thats my theory.

Got a Backorder email for the Otunga/Mike Mc. 2 pack I got an E-mail that my Otunga/McGillicutty AND my Elite 15 Sin Cara are backordered. I'm going to be REALLY pissed if we end up getting screwed and having our orders cancelled. Mattelshop used to be really awesome, but ever since the debacle with The Rockers, it seems like it's gotten more and more dysfunctional every time they list something. |

Got a Backorder email for the Otunga/Mike Mc. 2 pack I got an E-mail that my Otunga/McGillicutty AND my Elite 15 Sin Cara are backordered. I'm going to be REALLY pissed if we end up getting screwed and having our orders cancelled. Mattelshop used to be really awesome, but ever since the debacle with The Rockers, it seems like it's gotten more and more dysfunctional every time they list something. Expect a cancellation e-mail anytime soon. That happened with my Cara/Bryan pack and 4-5 days later they said they can't full-fill the order. |

Had to email mattelshop because they backordered my Otunga/McGillicutty and Elite 15 Sin Cara but they DID ship my B18 Hunico but by splitting my order and charging me just for Hunico they didn't give me my 20%!
I don't think I'm ever going to order from Mattelshop again.

At first I was a little disappointed I missed out on this but after hearing that they didn't stock any Yokozuna's and they didn't stock a lot of Sin Cara's, not to mention the Sin Cara's will likely be yellow and not gold I'm not disappointed.

I contacted Mattel Shop and I asked them if my backordered Otunga/McGillicutty and Elite Sin Cara would actually ever be shipped or if it would eventually just be cancelled by them and they said that they would get more and they would be shipped out once they arrive at the warehouse, so I guess I'll take their word on that for now.
Also, they issued me a partial refund to reflect what my order would have been with the 20% discount because apparently there was a glitch and I was only given a 10 or 15% discount for some reason.
They got back to me very quickly and things seem to be in order....Hopefully I actually do get my figures and I hope everybody who got a backorder e-mail gets theirs too. There has got to be someway to avoid this from happening. Sold out items stay on the site long after they are gone and it leads to a lot of confusion and disappointed people.

I got a back order notice for one of the Elite Evan Bournes, but the rest of my order Elite Evan Bourne and Basic 18 Cody Rhodes is coming. For the cost of the elite figure with the 20% off it was a no brainer to get 2 Evans for the belts

The fact that they didnt stock Yokozuna has me very worried that this figure might be very hard to find down the road. Hope Im wrong.
Also, when they are having a site wide sale, (like the 20 percent off they are offering now) DONT put in any coupon codes for free shipping or any other discount because it will cancel out whatever discount they are giving you on the site already.

So when they split your order dont you still have to pay seperate shipping costs as opposed to one shipping price? Seems like they are still costing you money. That would still suck and I would be still mad...Fortunate for me I have never had my order split but then again Ive never bought more than 2 things at a time because they never stock all the things i want..

Unfortunately my Evan Bourne got back-ordered. But the other two have shipped! Hopefully they get some more in soon. To be honest, Mattel should start selling more WWE figs on their site. They seem to get a lot of business.

Got my E15 R-Truth yesterday. Unfortunately my E15 Bourne got backordered. I hope they get some back in stock soon. Doubt I'll find him in stores any time soon so nothing to lose playing the waiting game.

Maybe a year ago......but by now, everyone, ESPECIALLY THE SCALPERS, knows the routine. Mattelshop stocks between 4:30am - 6:00am. I'm sure the people who sell this stuff on eBay for $60 a figure are sitting on that site like a hawk every morning just HOPING that it's going to be a day where they stock something. Because let's face it....the majority of the responses to Mattelshop threads on WF are our members saying "damn I missed it, why the  do they put things up so early".....so I think that most of the good figs are going to the scalpers who camp on the site every morning. |
