The Rock, who is scheduled to be a part of Wrestlemania 29, has revealed when he is scheduled to return to the WWE. It appears that early 2013 will be when The Rock will return to the company to hype up Wrestlemania in April.
Johnson tweeted, "They asked I come back start of 2013. Have three films to shoot so trying to make it work. Miss that electricity though man."
This pretty much kills the rumors of The Rock working a match at Summerslam this year in Los Angeles.

Im sure thisll get a load of rock doesnt care about wwe comments, but his tweet says that wwe asked him to come back then.
Anyway looks like The Rock vs WWE Champion at Wrestlemania.

He could be lying so to surprise us with his return for a Summerslam match.
Not too bothered, let the young guys of the roster get more TV time instead of a Rock birthday thing. Hopefully he works a bit more on his ring work because he looked a little rusty at Mania.

Who even cares about Rock anymore? It's so annoying that he doesn't give a crapabout wrestling anymore, and only wants to make films. That's fine, but just stick to one. There's no point doing something half-heartedly.

I'd like to see another Rumble win for The Rock. Maybe take on Lesnar for the title at WM29? Appear sporadicaly up until WM30 and drop the title to Cena at Mania 30 in their rematch.

There's no point doing something half-heartedly. Me. The people I know who watched Wrestlemania purely because The Rock was facing John Cena because they were fans of him back in the day. The people who pay to see The Rock in movies. To say no one cares about the rock is just dumb. Your opinion aside, he's one of the biggest draws in pro wrestling. I'll take a little of the Rock over none at all.

I look forward to seeing him return next year.
I don't think he should win the RR however whatever he does it should be cool.

He could be lying so to surprise us with his return for a Summerslam match. Hopefully this. With HHH/Brock headlining SS seeing Rock face Orton, Jericho or Punk would make it even better.

But after him "returning" only to just never show up, it's frustrating because he may as well just not be there.

You just have to enjoy what you get. He didn't have to come back at all. We're getting to see a few more big matches, and absense makes the heart grow fonder as they say. Him showing up for a couple of big angles is better than him showing up week in, week out and becoming abit stale. Makes the moments The Rock does show up easier to look forward to/more supprising when they happen.

Everything this guy says just really infuriates me these days,
Stays away for 7 years, headlines wrestlemania, "I'm back, and I'm not gonna go away" has 2 matches, then goes away for the best part of a year. comes back, and (looks like) in the main event of wrestlemania again for the wwe title.

Perhaps it's just me, but I'd rather have no Rock than a Rock that appears two or three times a year.

if this is true its a fairly damning piece of news for WWEs full time roster.it shows Vince has no faith in them whatsoever to carry a WM.

I hope it's a swerve and he comes back earlier. But if it's true, then I'm all for a Rumble win!

Maybe he is coming back full time in early 2013 but will do things here and there like the 1000 raw or summer slam.
