If it doesn't work, they could probably just fill that 1st (or last) hour with the new NXT.

I kind of like the whole 3 hour deal. Yeah the 3 hour Raws are usually less than spectacular but now they'll be focused solely on making every week 3 hours and they'll write and plan accordingly. With 3 hour Raws now it's usually to promote something or have some kind of special occasion. This opens them up for more potential storylines. More TV time for guys like Ziggler and Rhodes. More opportunity to develop a mid card feud or 2. Having said that, I'm not sure they'll do that. They'll probably just give more time to Cena and his feud of the month. This.

Honestly, if i had my way I'd have reduced the time raw runs for, 2 hours drags badly enough itself sometimes. Really can't see this 3 hour thing lasting

It depends on how long USA wants there to be three hour Raws.

I went with 6 months.
Maybe 9 months if it doesn't slow down really quickly.

Obviously I am gonna watch it and I have high hopes because with longer time we can see matches last for more than 5 minutes and maybe even get better storylines

I dunno, it could work. Everyone's gonna complain but everyone's gonna watch as long as there isn't a better wrestling promotion on television. I'll probably just stick to watching the last two hours. Depends if the first three hour show is any good.

I get the feeling we will be stuck with the 3-hour crap for awhile. I think it should stay 2 hours, it takes away the buzz of the "special edition 3hr shows" and PPV's.

It will be interesting to see. I'm not sure if each Raw will actually be 3 hours despite them having an allocated 3 hour time slot. I think they could do an hour long Pre Show, possibly with Josh Matthews and someone in a booth in the Arena somewhere to hype the Show. Fill it with a couple of Interviews, clips from last week and hype videos, it should draw even more people to watch Raw by the time it starts.
