It's probably nothing to look too far into, but still.

It's been rumored to have an attitude era theme for months so it is pretty much confirmed now

I heard that they are going to bring back the attitude era. RRRU reported that the WWE was in talks with The Godfather and was going to have him return to feud with CM Punk and eventually Stone Cold Steve Austin when he returns.

Ah, okay. I had no idea if it was confirmed or not.
I'm just thinking maybe they're going to start including the word "ATTITUDE" at the bottom of the WWE logo on their products.
Not that it matters, but maybe they're going to make the television product a little more edgy since people like to complain about the Attitude Era being dead.

I noticed it, but I'd already heard about how '13 was supposedly going to be Attitude Era-centric, so I didn't think much of it.

Go back and read my first post. Not jumping to conclusions. Just speculating. Also, John, I'm not implying that either. I'm just saying if they start putting that on all products maybe the television product will be a little more edgy, that's all. Of course WWE won't go back to being vulgar, profane, and smutty. But I do think they're finding a perfect balance. Kid friendly, but it almost crosses the line between PG and PG-13. It won't be entirely kid-friendly, but it will give something for every fan to enjoy. And to further clarify, in a tl;dr version - - No, I don't want WWE to go back to being TV-14 or an "Attitude" Era. I'm not one of those fans. |

I think I remember reading on GameFAQs a couple months ago that Billy Gunn and Road Dogg were asked to do voice work or MoCap for WWE 13, but I'm not sure if it was one or the other. X-Pac apparently was contacted do participate in the game in some capacity as well. DX storyline anyone? =P New DX stable in the game with current wrestlers?  =O |
