Thought I'd post this here so more people can see it and talk about it
Kurt Angle recently stated on Twitter that he will not wrestle past the age of 46.
Angle, who renewed his TNA contract earlier this year, turns 44 in December. Judging by that, it appears that the end of 2014 will be the end of Angle's in ring career.

Taking anything Kurt Angle says seriously probably isn't the best idea.

He probably wants to retire from TNA and go to the WWE.

I asked him earlier in the year how long he has left in him & he said 3 years.
He seems to want one last stint in WWE judging by his tweets.

Kurt Angle looks like crap from all the pills and booze over the years. He's lost all his muscle and looks like Skinner from X-Files.

He will retire in TNA and he will elevate someone to 'Kurt Angle' like status. I hope he picks Samoa Joe.. Could be AJ though.

Kurt Angle looks like crap from all the pills and booze over the years. He's lost all his muscle and looks like Skinner from X-Files. Have you looked at the fact that TNA doesn't take very well care of there superstars? Some of those who enter the Impact Zone are introduced to drug abuse and are inevitably caught up with the police. Look at both Angle and Hardy for instance. I really hope he doesn't retire now, he's one of my favorite wrestlers of all time. Although I haven't watched TNA in recent months, I believe he shouldn't re-sign back to TNA and come back to WWE if he plans to rid his last to years in the ring. You find it ironic that a lot of superstars often contemplate going to WWE during there TNA run. Edit: This isn't all the case of course. But over the recent years, it's something I've seen quiet a few times out of TNA.

How can you tell someone has lost their muscle when they are fully clothed. Also, that was when he was training and trying to qualify for the Olympics so I assume he changed his diet and everything for that. He does look a lot different than when he was in WWE but I don't know if it's quite as drastic as some might think.
Of all the guys that have left WWE and went elsewhere Angle is the only one that I would have liked to have seen stay. I really wish they could have worked something out with him. One of the best wrestlers of all time. Could do comedic promos or be the serious guy and draw tons of heat. Really would have changed the WWE in the last 6 years, and for the better.

All I'm gonna say is that Angle saying when he's going to retire on Twitter is about as reliable as me telling you when he's going to retire on Twitter. It's well documented that him and Twitter don't mix well.

I'll believe Kurt Angle retiring when I actually see Kurt Angle retiring. I'll always remember his exact words on the Mania Of WrestleMania documentary from 2003 - "I'd rather die in that ring than have somebody tell me I can't do it anymore when I know that I can." Scary because it' true. Kurt Angle is gonna be somebody that they literally have to scrape up off the ring, because ya just know he's gonna keep going until he physically can't.

I can careless. The man has devoted so much time into the wrestling industry and he is just an amazing athlete. He will for sure become a hall of famer.
Or he can take the Undertaker route and have a match once a year -_-

For as long as whenever WWE offers him a big deal to come back. Never say never in wrestling. His TNA deal is up then, but if WWE comes calling, he'll be back.
Still want to see him wrestle Bryan and Punk

and this belongs on the WWE board why? because you're a tool. Also I hate the fact that he signed with TNA again, not that I hate TNA but I seriously want to see him retire in the WWE and have a memorable WrestleMania moment against someone like Punk, Bryan or Ziggler.

Kurt Angle looks like crap from all the pills and booze over the years. He's lost all his muscle and looks like Skinner from X-Files. But there is still no-one currently who can hold a candle to him as far as wrestling goes. Possibly CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and even Jericho, but even Kurt can still outwrestle them. He has been kick-ass since he stepped foot in the company as far as I'm concerned. I find it wierd that by next year he will have spent more of his career in TNA than he had in the WWE.

you got the rock on the left-still looking good-ripped and chiseled. then you got angle on the right, looking like he is about to take you out with his tardstrength.
