Does anyone know yet if we are voting again on legends for next year? Is the line dead at the end of the year or will 6 be put on Matty again?

I'm sure all that will prob be announced at Comic Con. But Mattel did say that they would most likely be doing the polls again.

I think the polls were useless the first time around. I honestly think we were going to get the Legends we got regardless of the polls but since there were polls the blame can go one us.
I think Mattel should really put more thought into the line this time. More colorful characteres and more accessories. If the Matty Legends were the Flashbacks and vise versa they would be sold out... well, maybe Edge would still be available.

If they do the polls again, they need to have some kind of measure in place to prevent people from voting multiple times.
I'm happy with the lineup we got for 2012, but there was zero point in holding those polls considering how easily they could be manipulated.

From last year I hope Faarooq, M$M, Junkyard Dog, Doink, Magnum TA (as his figure was brilliant) and not sure the last one as it's really hard to pick...

I have a strong feeling that if Legends do happen in 2013 that the Magnum TA fans are going to be very happy.
Hoping for at least one 97-01 WCW or ECW guy personally.

we're going to get blamed for poor Legends online sales because we (the 5% of their business) didn't buy all the 2012 Legends; believe that. I'm really not a pessimist, I just call it like it is as much as Bill and MDT dislike that: Yoko, Booker, Bossman, Kane are all outstanding figures, DDP, Bundy - not so much. They made an awesome Magnum TA proto that will probably never see the light of day. And they come on here so often to post yet they can't throw a bone to Apoc on if we're getting an Earthquake

Don't forget not only are we 5%, but how many of the 5% gave up? I know my friend was a die hard Classics/Legends collector and now he doesn't buy anything at all. His opinion on Mattel is that they cater to the rich. I don't agree with him entirely but I see his point. He has very limited credit, and he doesn't feel comfortable making on-line purchases w/o paypal so he threw in the towel. Also, you can't take a line that was available in stores and now make them on-line only exclusives that raises the price on each figure on top of horrible shipping cost and expect everybody to be cool with it. Especially when a couple of the figures leave a lot to be desired. No offense to any DDP fans but is figure would have been peg warmer worthy as well as Bundy's. I am sorry but at $20 a fig I expect next to near DM quality. The Flashbacks are much better figures and yet Mattel feels it necessary to do their packing magic in a case. I understand they want to see sales, but limiting the amount of figures to ensure high sales margin on said figure makes no sense. Especially when every collector is looking for them. Also, MOTUC is a bad comparison. MOTUC started out as on-line only item. The $20 price point was a much easier pill to swallow and understandable since you couldn't walk into any Walmart and buy them. Plus MOTU Has a really stong fanbase. I am sorry but when stuff like this happens it only makes me think that companies are only out for money. God forbid if Flex Force Lightnings are out of stock.

Honestly, i'd love for them to continue...even though shipping prices are nuts ($30 shipped for a single through matty...and it takes 3 weeks to arrive..give me a break). If there's 6 more for 2013, i'd love for this to be the 6
Lex Lugar Big John Studd Bobby "The Brain" Henan Magnum TA Brutus Beefcake Demolition Crush
I'd also love for them to throw us a bone and give us 1 more legends 2-pack set Hart Foundation LOD (classic red attire) Money Inc (IRS & M$M)

I hate the way Mattel packs the Legends/Flachbacks

I'd like to see them get more old-school WWF in 2013, for personal reasons, of course, but also because it could rope in some of the MOTUC guys who love 80s properties. More nods to the LJN line might be enticing to the nostalgia-holics who are buying the MOTUC vintage-inspired guys. I think a manager or two would be helpful as well.

"Will earthquake get a figure sometime this year? No. Not under WWE Legends contract anymore. "I want more legends on Matty, but i hope its not a vote again. Miss Elizabeth, Tully and Arn are cool an all.......but I really wanted Doink, Crush, JYD or One Man Gang. Let Mattel pick them.

I stand corrected, there's been so many Q&As that I obviously missed their answer to Earthquake. I'll admit when I'm wrong MDT shows so much potential, hands down have created the best wrestling toys ever made, but Mattel corporate leadership (and I'm not talking about boss Bill) just doesn't seem to know what to do or have a vision for this line.

I would really like Doink and Demolition Crush from last years list to get a figure. I picked them along with JYD, Bundy and Liz. The rest of the choices were just blah.
