Been lurking here for a little while and would like to share our (my wife and I) first custom: Brock Lesnar as he appeared at Extreme Rules. The head was originally a Jakks UFC Series 0 head which we shrunk and resculpted heavily. We didn't want to use the original Jakks Brock torso because it was kind of ridiculously muscular compared to his current physique. So we went with a Jakks Wanderlei Silva with liberal amounts of Apoxie Sculpt on the chest, stomach, and forearms (Silva's forearms were soo skinny). The lower legs are from a Paul Orndorff Mattel Legends and the boots from a Bob Orton Legends figure. The full paint app was intended to capture the paler complexion he has today. The paint has been sealed but if the hinge joint on the shoulder is used, it would crack and ruin the decals as well (the shoulder can still be rotated for a nice range of motion, though. Credit for the images used to created the arm and back decals goes to mod Jay. Here are a few pics and you can see more at our site in the signature. Please feel free to leave comments/questions either at the site or here in this thread. Thanks. *UPDATE* We finished the custom card art. Edges are a little rough on these lower res versions. Front: Back: *UPDATE* Pics of figure in package have been added to page 2.

I like it. Hopefully when Mattel makes a Brock figure, they include his sponsors. I highly doubt it though...

Amazing! I love that he is so heavily modified. Indeed a one-of-a-kind figure. Zero complaints over here. 10/10

Looks pretty good, but face is too puffed out. Looks like he's holding his breath or ate something he's allergic to

Not bad for first custom. Much better than most Lesnar customs lately. The only critique I really have is that you can see a few brush strokes. Other than that, it's fantastic. Awesome job.

for a custom thats amazing especialy since its ur first and 2 questions how do you shrink a head and do you have experience at painting other things I'd love to say it's something cool like a shrinking silicone mold but we used a much more primitive technique. I hollowed out a lot of the head with a dremel and then heated it with a heat gun until it was hot as hell. Then I just squeezed it as hard as I could until it cooled. You're left with a fairly deformed head but the face part scrunches up nicely. The head and jaw just needs to be trimmed away until it looks alright. I have some model painting experience. Between my wife and I we have lots of experience in disciplines related to customizing (sewing, papercrafts, graphic design, sculpting, etc.) but this the first actual custom action figure we've ever done--we have a few others in the queue but when we saw Brock at ER we moved him to the front of the line

Looks good, but something looks off on the boots. They look as if they were placed on the wrong side of the legs? I love the expression on the fig, looks like Brock when he was about to attack Triple H. Priceless

This is just a beautiful work of art! Wow is all i can say. Also, it's always great to hear couples collaborating on stuff together, truly something special.
