Wow, thank you so much for taking the time to post these. Those are some seriously impressive figures right there. I'm really eager to see how the WWE stars will translate into this style. Especially with all the different body types and sizes.
It seems like their style would fit perfectly with a figure of someone like Batista, Orton, or Big Daddy V. Each of them have "unique" body types that are poorly captured with the part choices made by Jakks.
Really good stuff, I'm so glad I looked at this thread. I may even track down some of these figures. They all look really good.
+Karma for you, PJ.

I love the DC Universe line. It is amazing. If Mattel can do something on par for WWE, it will be greatness.

I love the perfect balance(at least for me) of articulation and detail on those DCSH/DCUC figures. Especially on the lower body. Jakks has always seemed to have trouble in this area with oversized thunder thighs and little to no movement in their T crotches.
They don't seem to skimp on paint either with very cool washes of paint on paint to make them look that much better. It'll be great to see wrestling figures with good paint apps and *gasp* BACK DESIGN!

Some of those arnt half bad. WWE might have some better action figures now. But I would much rather have Jakks.

Wow thanks PJ your photos are alway amongst the best and I love that you always add comparison pics. I totally want to hire you to shoot my collection when I finally complete my "big table." Mostly I need to thank you for supplying me with evidence to show my wife that some collectors are even crazier than me. I also collect DC Superheros and have been impressed with their efforts to improve the articulation on their figures. In the past it was their biggest weakness in comparison to Marvel Legends. However with Hasbro taking that line straight down the toilet (in terms of detail) I am pleased to see that Mattel continues to build on their foundation towards becoming a top, if not the top, producer of action figures.

That Punisher was probably the best figure Toy Biz ever released, but it's very lacking compared to most of the DC figures. Especially compared to the DCUC series 2 Classic Aquaman - With modern Aquaman - Superman Red - He has 21 POA consisting of...a ball-jointed head, ball-jointed shoulders, upper arm swivels, elbows, wirsts, mid-torso hinge, waist, T-crotch & hinged hips, thigh swivels, knees and ankles. And he comes with red energy bolts and Grodd's left arm. Superman Blue - He has 21 POA consisting of...a ball-jointed head, ball-jointed shoulders, upper arm swivels, elbows, wirsts, mid-torso hinge, waist, T-crotch & hinged hips, thigh swivels, knees and ankles. And he comes with blue energy bolts and Grodd's left arm Harley Quinn - harley has 21 POA consisting of...a ball-jointed head, ball-jointed shoulders, upper arm swivels, elbows, wirsts, mid-torso hinge, waist, T-crotch & hinged hips, thigh swivels, knees and ankles. She comes wit ha pop gun, mallet & Grodd's torso & head. Firestorm (Classic) - Ronnie has 21 POA consisting of...a ball-jointed head, ball-jointed shoulders, upper arm swivels, elbows, wirsts, mid-torso hinge, waist, T-crotch & hinged hips, thigh swivels, knees and ankles. He comes with Grodd's right leg. Black Manta - has 21 POA consisting of...a neck, ball-jointed shoulders, upper arm swivels, elbows, wirsts, mid-torso hinge, waist, T-crotch & hinged hips, thigh swivels, knees and ankles. He comes with his Trident, Manta ray and Grodd's left leg. Aquaman (Classic) - Aquaman has 21 POA consisting of...a ball-jointed head, ball-jointed shoulders, upper arm swivels, elbows, wirsts, mid-torso hinge, waist, T-crotch & hinged hips, thigh swivels, knees and ankles. And he comes with his Trident and Grodd's right arm. On DCD Storm - Modern Aquaman- Has the same articulation and accessories as the Classic Aquaman. Comparison Pic - Grodd - Various Group Pics - Harley with DCSH & DCUC 1-

There are only three things that really worry me
1) like previously said, the heads aer rather cartoony, but i guess thats to be expected from comic characters, i just hope they have something similar to realscan for the wrestlers
2) The areas such as the troso look a bit over-exaggerated in size, but then again, these are superheroes
3) I really hate the cut thighs, ball-jointed legs would be much better
I was wondering, would anyone be able to show some of the more 'human' like figures leg articulation in some way (eg, walls of jericho, super kick, sharp-shooter) i just want to see if the leg joints on these figures are better
