First time thread here. I remember years ago (around 2003) seeing a line of Jakks WWE figures in stores with "Real Skin". The packaging bubble had a hole cut out in the front, around the figure's abs, and you could touch it and it felt like "real skin". I think they had a Triple H in red tights and ponytail in that line for sure, and maybe Lesnar. Any info on the line would be great, guys. I've always wondered what the line was called and why it was even made in the first place, since it seems like a pretty ridiculous feature on a figure. I even remember a friend of mine having a Lesnar which melted in the Middle Eastern heat when he went on vacation LOL. Anyway, enlighten me! Thanks!

I remember getting Edge and Y2J for Christmas from this line. I thought they were pretty cool and then Edge's legs came off -_-

I bought only one RVD. I still remember the girl cashier at Kmart poking her finger through the hole. RVD came with a very nice cloth singlet.
Why did they make them?--- Jakks was actually being innovative. Their upper body had no visible joints yet they still had some posing ability. The problem is if you pose the figs too much the skin starts to get little tears and rips.

I loved those figures! Played with them all the time. That is, until Hogan's legs came off, Booker T's head came off, and the skin was tearing. That sucked.

I loved these things. I had Lesnar, Hogan, RVD and Angle and maybe some more. They were fun to play with and if they made a fig where the whole thing was made like the upper body of these things were made then they'd easily be the best figures ever when it comes to playability.

These were a great idea, but the actual product didn't pan out. I like the look of them and have Eddie and Hogan, but I am a collector and not someone who played with the toys. I have heard and read a lot about these falling apart with play. Even still in the package I can see where my Hogan figure has some wear where the hole in the package is. I do recall them trying to do something about this problem, as some later variations of those figures have a kind of "glossy" skin tone to them instead of the softer type the first run had. I doubt it helped much.

I had almost every one of these figures. They were awesome imo. Its kind of sad that they all got sold by my mothers old roomate while we were away. I lost a lot of great figures that way. I wasily had close to 20 unlimited figures though and really wish I could get them back.

I loved the concept, but such a poor material was a step in the wrong direction. Last time I saw my Triple H, he had indentations along his chest due to being pressed underneath something. The REAL crimes against humanity were Flex 'Ems.

The REAL crimes against humanity were Flex 'Ems. You can say that again......ugh. I dont think I ever heard of anyone actually liking those things i'd easily put Flex em's alongside these things as the worst lines ever produced by jakks:

I have a Hulk Hogan Unlimited. Pretty nice figure.
You can see it in my sig all the way to the far right leaning toward the ring ropes.
