Does anyone know if the yellow dots on his trucks will come off with acetone? I can't stand that version and would love to change it, but don't want to ruin the figure.

yea im pretty sure the trunks are black base so the dots should come off

Just paint over them. Its a lot easier and probably wouldnt risk any damage to the figure (as acetone tends to eat plastic)

I would stay away from acetone unless it is used in small amounts, removing tats and such!

My plan was to use a cotton swab on each dot. If that doesn't sound right, what type of paint should be used? Do I need to scuff it up before painting?
Sorry, just totally new to the custom game. Trying to star small ... Despite Dusty's huge belly.

Use black acrylic paint (can be bought at Walmart or any craft store) and also buy a sealer. Brush on sealers are better and a lot less messy/sticky. I use Folk Art acrylic paint and Delta Ceramcoat Sealer. Both work perfectly. This isnt a real good pic but you can kinda get an idea...  |
