The Vince's Death storyline. It was stupid, in poor taste, and they sure got hit with a huge dose of karma with the Benoit murders shortly after.

Tim White Suicide "story." Not much gets to me but this was one time I came close to stop watching WWE (even though the segments were on the web).
Vince/HBK/God angle was odd and was surprised they took it in that direction.
Vince's death angle really bothered me when WWE didn't do much to acknowledge the real passing of Sherri only to put over the angle. Very bad taste.

Oklahoma pissed me off, but thats about it. I got a chuckle out of it at first, but it was just such a scathing portrayal of JR.
Actually, most of Vince Russo WCW was offensive. Try and find something not offensive in this video. Hell, even Steve Williams shirt is offensive

It does offend me but 2 things that have me double thinking WWE/WWF
1. The Miss Kitty aftermath of the pool match
2. Lita and Edges live sex celebration

I think everything that both WCW/WWF/WWE did making fun of Jim Ross was pretty bad. Not offended or disturbed but really thought this was bad taste.

The constant Ric Flair heart attacks were also annoying. They didnt necessarily "offend me" but I found them to be redundant and unnecessary.

Nothing has offended me or made me mad. The only time I felt like they were pushing things to far was the constant belittling of JR.

I still can't believe HBK consented it to a storyline treating God like a cheesy prop.
The line about Eddie G. was in poor taste too. I hope his kids never heard that.
Ric Flair calling Butch Reed a "monkey"
Hulk Hogan calling Tony Atlas a "brown clown"
New Jack (at the behest of Jim Cornette) mocking the deaths of Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman.
Really, there aren't many areas which are genuinely offensive, but faith, racial slurs, and mocking the dead aren't necessary to generate heat.

I've never been offended by a storyline because thats all it is, a storyline. I'm not offended when I see a car blow up on a TV series or movie so why should I be offended when it happens on Raw? I didn't get offended when Gabrielle Solis made fun of Carlos' dead mother on Desperate Housewives so it shouldn't be the same in wrestling, reason being that neither of them are real.

Anybody wonder if Jim Ross has indeed done anything to piss all these people off? I mean... he's nearly got people lined up to take jabs at him and it makes me wonder if it's actually warranted. Has there ever been reports of him causing problems backstage or anything? Vince has fired the man three times over the years so it's made me curious.

The Vince/HBK/God Storyline. For some reason it really bothered me. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who feels that way. The only good thing that came out of that was their Mania match IMO I did not have cable when this storyline was going on. (I missed the entire year of 2006). From what i have seen thru videos i have bought i did not care for it. I really did not care for there match at backlash 2006. |

For me, it was basically most things in the Attitude era. All of it was pointless trash, and I really concentrated on WCW during that time.
...not that WCW didn't do horrible, tasteless crap too....

Not a religious person so the McMahon/HBK/God feud was funny as hell to me. This. Any dance contest makes me embarrassed to say I am a wrestling fan. Also, not an angle, but how Vince handled the Owen Hart accident. |
