I've seriously sat here for five minutes just thinking of sequels that I want and I can honestly say I don't want any. Most sequels are completely unnecessary and are only released as a way to bring in loads of cash.

Departed 2, as long as the entire cast comes back ...Half the cast was killed. You wanna see a movie starring Mark Wahlberg, Anthony Anderson, and Alec Baldwin? Not me. Not me, ever. Like I said, ENTIRE CAST (sarcasm doesn't translate well over the interwebs)

21 Jump Street. The movie was hilarious, and at the end they said they're going to college. It has potential. I cant wait for Monsters Inc. 2 next year!!!

Beverly Hills Cop 4 with Eddie Murphy back to his best. A great new sequel would make up for the abysmal 3rd movie, a truly terrible film.

Anthony Anderson died too. Mark Wahlberg, Alec Baldwin, and Vera Farmiga could return haha but no, The Departed was great and should be left alone. No sequel necessary. I would really like to see Last Friday with cast members from each movie back for one last movie. Craig, Smokey, Debo, Mr. Jones, Red, Day Day, Uncle Elroy, Pinky, Stanley, & Money Mike would be awesome. Hell even throw Big Worm back in there for the hell of it.

Beetlejuice 2 more than ANYTHING. But I just have a gut feeling that it'll end up not happening for one reason or another. It saddened me greatly to see that Dumb and Dumber 2 isn't going to happen. Was really looking forward to that one. I want to hold on to some hope they can sway Jim Carrey back into it, but I seriously doubt they can since he's so anti-sequel to begin with. Next, for me, would be Jurassic Park IV. There's some hope since they brought in the people that wrote Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Should be a top notch script at least. BUT, it all depends on Speilberg fitting it into his schedule, which is crazy, because he's not even directing it. Not exactly a sequel, but I want another Masters of the Universe film. I loved the original, and now is the perfect time for a reboot.Last would be Ghostbusters 3. I've all but given up hope on it ever happening though. And if it DOES happen without Bill Murray, I really don't want it to. I would love to see that happen. Especially since they did a good job with the cartoon reboot in 02, I figured they would gear up for another live action go-round. I'm ready to spend my money whenever they want to make that happen.

I hate to tell you this, but making loads of cash is the point of almost every movie, be it sequel or not.

Gremlins 3 but not a CGI fest reboot.
Ghostbusters 3 but only with Murray.
A true Meatballs sequel with Murray. Those abominations calling themselves Meatballs 2, 3, and 4 don't count.
Evil Dead 4, Rambo 5, Cliffhanger 2, another Predator with Arnie, Elf 2, Kick Ass 2...
and please, somebody get The Punisher right!

There would be no point in making movies if studios weren't going to make a profit, but it's gotten to a point where Hollywood couldn't care less about the quality of the film and they just throw craptogether and call it a sequel. It's pathetic.

I am totally down for another Masters of the Universe film! Like mentioned above, I know its not a sequel, but they need to make another He-Man movie now that we have all these special effects.
But as far as actual sequels
Ghostbusters 3 Jeepers Creepers 3 Bourne sequel ( that actually has Jason Bourne in it) Green Lanteren 2 X Men 4 X Men first Class 2 Indiana Jones 5 Step Brothers 2 Rambo 5 Terminator 5 (only if Bale stays on as Connor) American Psycho (true sequel with Bale as Bateman)

Yeah I would really like to see Reynolds get a shot at GL2, but I also don't want anything distracting him from doing Deadpool. Including some terrible Highlander reboot that I really just don't think should be made.

The author of Abe Lincoln Vampire Hunter, Seth Grahame-Smith is writing the script for Burton.
