So I was watching Randy Savage vs. Crush from Wrestlemania X and noticed Gorilla Monsoon was sitting at a table doing commentary but I couldn't hear him because the actual announce team was Vince and Lawler.
Then it hit me, I very vaguely remember "WWF Radio" which Gorilla Monsoon and...someone else used to do.
What was it? Was it the equivalent of listening to a sports game on the radio? Was it on an AM station or did you have to pay for it? How long did it last and why did they get rid of it?
I think it's actually a pretty good idea.
Just curious. Anybody who can help with this it'll be greatly appreciated.

I would LOVE to have something like that now, whether it's an app on your phone or an actual station.

Gorilla Monsoon and Jim Ross did it usually. I never knew what station it was though, I don't know if everyone could get it, or just certain markets.

Yeah, around 1993, they wanted to have a few PPVs broadcasted on the ratio. I remember 'Rumble '94 being on there.

I'd imagine I wouldn't like this too much. I want to see all the maneuvers!

Someone has to have the old recordings. Can't find anything online though.
