According to The Wrestling Observer, former WWE and WCW star Bill Goldberg reached out to Brock Lesnar to discuss a potential angle between the two of them that would see Goldberg make his return to pro wrestling.
One problem, however, is that Brock Lesnar only has two major dates left on his WWE deal, one with Triple H at SummerSlam, and the other with his opponent at WrestleMania.

I don't ANYONE wants to relive the terrible Goldberg vs Lesnar match from Wrestlemania. However I would be interested in seeing Bill Goldberg vs Triple H or CM Punk.
Lesnar should go with either The Rock, Triple H or Punk at Wrestlemania.

I've never understood this. Why bring back a guy that, in his prime, was a below average in ring competitor after being gone for 8 years? Brock was a different story because he was young when he left and stayed active in competitive sports. Plus he was actually capable of having a good match. Stop worrying about bringing back these has beens and focus on up and coming talent and building up future stars.

I'd love Goldberg back he's still in phenominal shape, I would to see Goldberg vs. Punk though or Austin. Punk reminds a lot like Austin so either one would be fantastic.

If anyone wants to come out of retirement to face Lesnar I'd rather have Austin, HBK or Batista.
As for Goldberg I'd rather see Goldberg vs The Undertaker or Goldberg vs John Cena. Two huge matches right there.

What I find funny is the WWE would be in the exact same situation for the match as they were for WM20, Brock vs Goldberg at Wrestlemania, both leaving the company afterwards.

Maybe it will be different this time. Maybe both of them can come to an understanding that we pay to see them fight not walk around the ring

But I will agree that the WWE needs to focus more on todays talent.

Love how people still like to rip on Goldberg even though in his time with WCW he was one of the biggest draws ever

I love Goldberg, I'd rather see him face a first time opponent such as John Cena or The Undertaker.

I'd like to see Goldberg have one more run in the WWE, but feud with Punk, Taker, or even Ryback before Lesnar.

Why would Lesnar only have 2 dates left? He signed a 36 day contract. He only made a few of those appearances thus far....
