I see all the hype around Dolph Ziggler and I honestly think he can make it big but which wrestlers did you get behind and watched them just fail ? I remember Bobby Lashley was going to be the next Lesnar and well that didnt pan out

Lashley was getting a good push. Next Lesnar? No way, but he was having a very nice treatment.

Carlito.
He was good in the ring, charismatic, and a Raw upper midcarder after about a year on the roster. Then he apparently lost his drive and slowly disappeared.

There have been so many. The one that immediately comes to mind is Billy Gun. I thought he would break away from DX and be a huge star. Always thought he just needed a little something, but he never got it and ended up being pretty awful. Ziggler is another one. I never thought he would amount to anything and now he's one of my favorites.

He was always in big segments! -I thought Shelton Benjamin in 2008, I was thinking that he would eventually beat HHH for the strap(plus he was one of the guys that made SD awesome in 2008) -R-Truth last year, even though he was still an upper mid carder until the Miz stuff(which should of had a PPV match) , I really thought he would beat Cena for the WWE title then maybe lose it the next night. -DH Smith, I was hoping that they were gonna push him to the stars since he was the son of the British Bulldog, but you know what happened to him...(but I hope he make a return at SummerSlam and faces the IC Champion and wins it lol that would be a dream, 20 years after his dad won the same title at the same event)

Kennedy. I was a huge fan of his back in 2006 and 2007. I thought after the Taker feud he was up for a run with the title. At Royal Rumble 2007 against Batista, the crowd were behind Kennedy! And then the injuries happened and the rest is history

Mr. Kennedy is the first to come to mind, Elijah Burke is another. Thought both were gonna be on top of the WWE food chain for years.
I wouldn't say Shelton Benjamin was a flop. He was on fire when he came to RAW but WWE didn't strike while he was red hot. An ill advised heel turn and allegiance with his "mother" ruined all that potential.
I hope if this is asked again in a year or so, I won't have to put Drew McIntyre on the list. He's far too good to be wasting away. But WWE needs to act fast before it's too late.

When JBL first debuted his "big money" gimmick, i thought it was terrible and would bomb.
