Totally agree. A friend of mine said "what is she DOING" during the main event tonight and all I could say is "ruining good wrestling." I get that it's not her fault and she's even doing a REALLY good job at what they have her doing, it's just not something I care to see. Girls shouldn't be involved in wrestling. Exactly....for the past month, every time Daniel Bryan and CM Punk are involved in a match and the match starts to get REALLY good, boom, out comes AJ to bring all the wrestling to a screeching halt. Maybe people on this board are obsessed with AJ because they think she's actually a nerd in real life like her character? I hope they realize that she's not, and no, none of us have a shot with her in real life. She doesn't want to play video games or talk about figures or Star Wars or lightsabers or other nerdy stuff....it's called a gimmick and she's not really like us. Either way.....I'm just assuming that at Money in the Bank, AJ's primary function is going to be getting in the way and ruining perfectly good wrestling. It's not her fault. If this is what WWE is going for then she's doing a great job, I just hate the character, I don't want to see people making out, and I don't like to see good matches get interrupted with nonsense.

I thought the ending to tonight's RAW was incredibly creative. Sometimes feuds aren't just 1 on 1, they have other elements to them. Do you honestly think that this will be the last time Punk and Bryan square off, or have an extended feud? They'll be linked somehow their whole careers.
Oh, and when you said "I hate to sound like a complainer" was about as ironic as Lance Storm's "If I can be serious for a minute..."

I thought AJ's Angle with Punk and Bryan has been the most interesting think on wwe in quiet some time.

AJ must be pulling an "Eve" in real life with somebody pretty high up in the company or on the creative team.....I've never seen THIS much of the show dominated by a Diva. And I mean, seriously, she's going to be the ref in a WWE title match? This is such a joke. This is just more and more proof that Vince McMahon HATES WRESTLING. He couldn't just let a feud between Punk and Bryan be about WRESTLING, could he? NOPE. Just like he couldn't let the feud between Jericho and Punk be just about WRESTLING. It had to be about booze and alcoholic and drug addict family members. Can't we just get some parts of the show that are JUST about wrestling? Not everything has to have some ridiculous convoluted storyline that you need cliff notes to follow. I hate to sound like a complainer, but it's just so insulting to me as a wrestling fan that the focus of this feud is on some stupid Diva and NOT where it belongs, on the "prestigious" WWE Championship and the wrestling ability of CM Punk and Daniel Bryan. It's embarrassing and insulting that AJ is the main focus of this feud, and pretty much the entire Monday Night RAW show now. ^^^^

Shouldn't the fact that CM Punk is WWE Champion and Daniel Bryan WANTS to be WWE Champion be enough of a reason for these guys to be fighting? They could have done an entire angle over Bryan being jealous of CM Punk making it to WWE so much faster than him, despite the fact that they both came up through the same roads, one man took the easy way and the other man had to toil so much harder (Bryan)...then talk about how Bryan got fired and CM Punk's star continued to rise and the entire angle could have been built over jealousy and Bryan being bitter because he knows he was always the better man. I mean, they don't need to go out on a crazy limb to explain why wrestling matches are happening.

AJ is the most entertaining character in WWE since singing Jillian and King Booker/Queen Sharmell.
I hope she continues to get this massive push and the angle lasts for a long time. It's such a nice change from the usual boring crap on WWE tv.

I'm not a regular wrestling viewer anymore, but decided to watch tonight because of my finally seeing the FABULOUS michaels/ hart rivalry thing on netflix, and I honestly didn't mind AJ's segments at all.
In fact, it could be argued rather well that she's about the only thing that anchored the show from one segment to the next. Which believe it or not, is important for quality television where wrestling is concerned. Otherwise the entire show comes off as a series of completely random events. Especially without a GM or commissioner figure.
I'm more upset that the cena and cm punk segments are still every bit as stale as they were when I quit watching, honestly.
I understand that times change and all that, but I have a hard time seeing any belt these mid-carding maineventes are carrying as prestigious, regardless of what championships name is molded on the buckle: Being a main eventer in wrestling isn't about what spot on the show your match comes, it's about how much entertainment you provide the audience with in the time you're allotted and that, apparently, is something that wwe still doesnt get or at the very least care about...
It pains me to say that after a nearly two-year break from wrestling in general, everyone on raw is still every bit as interchangeable as they were when i quit watching.
The only person I saw tonight with an actual character impact was AJ. It could've just as easily been cody rhodes and dolph ziggler vs randy orton and kofi tonight and still have been the same show.
There's nothing special about anyone else's "act" that I saw, unfortunately.

This is the same company where a woman gave birth to a hand, a guy had sex with a dead chick, and and someone had their pee pee choppy choppied...you act like these bizarre storylines never happened in the WWE before lol

I tend to enjoy the storyline more and more each week. I thought the end of Raw was cool as hell. Based on what I've seen in interviews/tweets/such, if anything they tone down her nerdiness on TV.

In a future feud with these two, it could and probably will be more focused simply on the competitiveness and ability of the two. Right now, that's not the case. Remember Stone Cold and The Rock's match at WrestleMania 17? Deborah was an integral part of that feud.

There is no such thing as too much AJ right now, it is the best parts to the show. When they opened Raw last week with her, I was glued to the show and was drawn into everything that went on.
This week they opened with the Cena/Show HiLi package and it did zeeero for me, it's dead, bury it and move on.

Seriously I am sick of people forcing there opinion on eachother. I see a lot of insulting in this thread. From both sides. I love AJ's current charachter. However I can see that both guys are amazingly talented.
Fact is this AJ charachter is gonna get views. Big Show vs. Cena is gonna get views. The majority of todays audience never saw the other what 5 rivalries between Big Show and Cena. I tried showing ROH to several people. They all found it boring. It wasn't boring matches either. It was the likes of Joe Kobashi and Danielson McGuinness. The majority of fans watch for the soap opera.
Which is why the attitude era had more viewers.
Do I disagree with those fans that can't stand ROH? Yes. Do I call them names? Nope.

If she costs Punk the belt, then it's a joke and even though Bryan would be Champion he would have no credibility, and if she cost Bryan the belt then it makes Punk look like he can't even beat Daniel Bryan to retain and keeps him below the level of guys like Cena and Orton. Either way, it's a no-win situation for CM Punk and Daniel Bryan.

Gotta love that bold statement like he knows her personally, huh? That kind of attitude is produced when smarks think they "know teh biz" because they spend far to much time online. Oh all that Make A Wish stuff...I hope you guys know that's just a gimmick. Cena hates those kids and only smiles for the camera. It's a work people. Those kids aren't even sick, it's all character promotion.
