I'm sure whoever keeps deciding to release CM Punk figures with supporter kneepads at Mattel has a good reason for it and I'm not knocking them for it. I'm just sick and tired of having to buy a bunch of random figures just so I can switch out kneepads...
I'd like to see knee pads available on the mattycollector website. They don't need fancy packaging and it would be pretty cool if they can be released in packs with multiple colors.

Yes! That is an awesome idea! That along with weapon accessory packs would be great. Maybe even elbow pad packs.

Its so hard trying to find regular black knee pads w/ the open back. They only gave them to Basic Sheamus, Finlay and Gabriel
i would buy a bunch of those if i could.

Yeah, it's kind of become frustrating trying to stock up on certain types of knee pads that are rarely used. It seems I'll never have a shortage of the "leg sleeves", but I'm always running low on the other 2 types.
This is something I'd definitely jump on if they ever did it.

I doubt something like this would ever happen. In order to remove kneepads, you have to take the figures apart. I doubt they would want to encourage people to take their figures apart. There would probably be a lot of broken figures and a lot of complaints.

I'm sorry but if you are 15+ with half a brain and you can't work a hair dryer or hot water to simply pull the shins of the figures apart then you're probably too dim witted to notice the inaccuracies of the figures to begin with... thus you wouldn't have a need to purchase any of it.

Be sorry all you like, theres nowhere near enough demand for them. Mattel have already said they wouldn't release figure parts online anyway. Plus like mentioned above, its encouraging people to take their figures apart. Its like Mattel saying 'heres a figure and heres some kneepads because we didn't put the right ones on the first time'. Yeah not gonna happen.

Why do we have a suggestion section of the forum anyways if we already know what Mattel will or will not put out? And as far as demand for them, why don't you let this thread flourish a little more before you jump into conclusions.
I don't see why they can't make good for collectors who actually want to correct some of the wrongs they've done in the past and in the process make them a few bucks. This isn't one of those nitwit topics with demands for JEfFf HarDy oR CRiSpEnWah!

*sigh* I feel ya, Armbar. This shouldn't even still be a problem, but...I do believe there is a demand for this, and people would buy them. Mattel knows this, it's been brought up to them plenty of times. It should have, and could have been corrected easily , but instead I think they are content with making you buy yet another basic orton to correct punk or jericho or whoever else. D-Bry, Miz, and justin gabriel get correct kneepads, but for some reason Punk, and even E13 Cody Rhodes gets stuck with the leg sleeves? WTF is the issue here really? I don't get it.

Well from what I gathered from the interview's RSC does with Mattel's PR @ those toy shows they have a guy(s) that make those decisions based on close it looks to the equipment the real wrestlers use.... which imo is just lip service for we don't give a .

And yet they've created the most accurate action figures and all you do is complain about kneepads?

I'm not complaining but it's just sheer fanboyism on your part to expect people to be docile and just accept things for the way they are. Even Zack Ryder himself had criticism about the boots Mattel used to make his elite figure.

Fair enough you don't like a figure but be realistic, do you honestly expect Mattel to sell kneepads for buyers to right their wrongs? How bad does it make them look if we have to buy something to fix their product?

Ive done hundreds of parts swaps from Hasbro to Toybiz to Jakks to Mattel and Ive still broken figures. It doesnt matter your age or "how much brain" you have. The figures arent meant to be taken apart and they can easily be broken.

every single Q&A with Mattel I ask the same question: Why are they using leg sleeves for knee pads when they have perfectly fine knee pad molds? Leg sleeves are highly inaccurate most of the time, they do not function properly, and probably cost more since they use more plastic - it's the dumbest thing I've ever seen. Of course Bill and Co. always ignore that question so I what everyone else does - stock up on Terry Funks and Randy Ortons for knee pads What ticks me off is the Pink & Black RSC Bret Hart with those hot pink leg sleeves - Mattel doesn't have hot pink medium-sized knee pads that I can switch em out for, so they are a real eye-sore on an otherwise awesome figure.
