Whenever the topic of immigration pops up in the WWE I always do think of JBL.

i thought it was great old school heat....insult the fans to make them hate you.
pure and simple. everyone is turning on Del Rio so fast, but that promo showed he can be a great heel.

It definitely felt like a poor man's JBL, but I also thought it really didn't make any sense. Why start randomly going after illegal citizens while you're feuding with Sheamus? How did that fit into the storyline at all? Thats how I felt about the whole segment. I feel like it was just cheap heat, which I guess is good for Del Rio since he has a hard time finding it. |
