Just too much time has passed. They previewed some nice figures (Tara) and now that is outdated. Never released it among others. No presence on this board. Talk of financial trouble. TNA ratings stagnant. Not what all hoped when they entered this partnership.

Upcoming deluxe impact 7 is still scheduled to come out as well as the A-double exclusive, so I'd say assuming it's dead is stupid at this point. Unless DI 7 is cancelled I wouldn't assume anything.

I remember a time when Jakks would release new WWE figures like every 2 months it seemed. Now it's like every 2 years for the TNA figures.

To be completely honest, the line lasted longer than I expected. Especially since TRU and Target both pulled them from their shelves after series 2 or 3.

It would have been great to have a better distribution in place. I liked the line, but honestly if it was going to fizzle out and die after 7 series, they should have been RA figures.. At least then we would have had an RA AJ, Wolfe, etc..

I thought TNA was going to be a TRU exclusive? Was that just a rumor? It's too bad because lately I look forward to TNA's show over Raw. I wouldn't mind gettting some new figures.

I know I would have purchased at least 10 more instead I have like 5 or 6.

I don't think it'll be around much longer, but for the time being they're still trying to do a few things, at least. If Kmart doesn't see strong sales with the relaunch, that's probably all she wrote. We might get maybe a few sets total before that, even if they don't. Although I imagine they could still do ShopTNA exclusives or RSC exclusives, but who knows if they'll feel that would be worth the effort.

honestly my real opinion on Jakks wrestling line. make TNA compatible to mattel! like basicly revive the R3 line. and make it better then what it was, if they can do that......and not make balloon size heads!!! iam down, to do a lot of converting!

Isn't the UFC line seeing the same thing? I'm pretty sure it is, so I'm not sure how this falls onto the shoulders of TNA and their ratings.
The line is dead in the water with collectors, because Jakks didn't give them RA figures. Instead of supporting a line - with talent they have wanted figures off - because they aren't 100% what they wanted, a % of them are pouting thinking that not buying said figures will increase the chances of Jakks waving a white flag and giving into the RA demand. At the end of the day... it'll just kill then line and then nobody will have TNA figures. So, hooray for that?

To be honest, I'm so fed up with Jakks, I have little to no hope for them. I just want my Austin Aries and my Velvet Sky figure then I could give a rat's ass what they do with the line.

Yes it's safe. Series 4 was the high point with 6 great looking figures that all sold pretty well everywhere. There were also awesome figures shown for future series (Magnus, Shannon Moore, Jesse Neal, Douglas Williams, etc).
Unfortunately, around the same time, all the stores decided to stop carrying the line and clearance out all their shelfwarmers from the overstocked series 1-3, which only encouraged the cancellations and delays. I never saw series 5 & 6 (both of which were disappointing anyway because they had figures cancelled from them). Anything new now seems like its just going to be more Stings since most of the people we saw protos for have since been released.

I don't even SEE figs to buy for UFC anymore except clearance at Kmart. No store even stocks them. RSC can't give them away. What are you talking about?
