Hello all. I have no official proof or announcement but this shouldnt suprise anyone it was coming. haha. I met and trained with him and got to speak with him for a while at a seminar at my gym I train at. He said that this is his last year and he is currently trying to set up a big retirement fight. He has contacted and got verbal agreements from Mark Coleman, Ken Shamrock, and Royce Gracie for rematches. Royce wants a ton of money and Ken and Mark want him to lose weight and meet them closer to 205, So there are some hold ups. But he claims they are only at 205 now because they arent on as much roids as they were in the 90's lol. Wouldnt suprise me. But anyways Dan is very intellegent and still a very strong wrestler. He really knows alot of different techniques and has a ton of knoledge. I havent been training for a long time but just three hours learning from him has helped greatly. Im even considering attending a weekend mma camp he holds at his gym. It was awesome not only getting to meet but train and learn from a UFC Hall of Famer. He was very kind and talked to all of us like we were equals as opposed to students. He is a true class act. Oh and just to sho some proof of this here is a pic of him and I after the seminar. What do you guys think of one of those dream rematches? Which of he three would you want to see most?

I think some organization should just put together 1 big legends MMA tournament, how sweet would that be?

Great post, interesting the roids remarks as I've been watching a lot of early UFC's recently (up to UFC 28) and I was curious if they were tested for anything around that time?
Severn looks good these days! I'd like to see Severn vs Shamrock too the most, saw a youtube clip of Karyn Bryant asking Shamrock who he'd like to fight 1 last time and he said his brother Frank. I'd pay to see both of those!

I had no clue he was still actively fighting either. Him and Ken would be nice to see as a sendoff for both fighters.

We will see how long that lasts. It'll be like a couture retiring then coming back...then retiring...then coming back...then retiring. Except no one will care.
