What a jerk. And honestly I do believe it is him sitting in front of the computer. Seems he doesn't do much else these days. He is constantly making videos. Same thing happened to me with a custom hockey mask I painted like Eddie Van Halen's red, white and black striped guitar. The mask had a $99 bid on it and it got removed because Eddie owns the rights to the stripe pattern. Ridiculous. My little $99 mask is affecting HIM? These people need to leave us little guys alone. Go after the people mass marketing the illegal stuff. Customs are nothing more than artistic expressions. Emotions aside, it is a slippery slope. At what point does the "little guy" making a custom or an artistic expression become the person mass marketing illegal stuff. If one custom does well, why not produce hundreds? Why not take the revenue from those hundreds of customs and open a shop that sells them? When that does well, why not expand into also selling t-shirts, posters and any other item bearing that likeness? I realize that is an extreme and unlikely example. The thing is that copyright and trademark laws are in place for a reason and some people will enforce them more fiercely than others. I challenge anybody here to create an image or character (Warrior was using his before he worked for McMahon and owns the trademark on it) and then watch happily while others profit from your work. Most people here would get irritated if somebody took one of their custom made banners, avatars or signatures and used it elsewhere. I'm with you. Many people may disagree, but he has every right to stop people from making money off of an unauthorized figure. If enough customs are out there, they could decrease the demand for more of his figures in the future.

Somewhat off-topic... but why the hell is the original figure 1 of 5? That attire is butt-ugly.
I would understand 1 of 500 or something... but 1 of 5 is kinda ridiculous.

Why am I not surprised that Hellwig would ruin the fun of a for yet another ego trip?
I feel sorry for his wife on the day that human cloning is perfected. He'll divorce her and marry himself. I'm sure of it.

Maybe this will keep Warrior customizers from pouncing on every damn Warrior figure that is listed on eBay with the intention to resell them as custome figures.

Really all this back lash towards the Warrior because he took down some kids custom paint job? Big deal. I hate seeing customs on Ebay anyhow. It's annoying to search for a figure and come across some hand painted garbage. I am not interested in some marks crappy paint job and would rather wait for Mattel to release a figure or a exclusive than deal with what someone on a forum board considered "great". Also not one of you knows a damn thing about any wrestler what so ever outside of what you read on dirt sheets, see on WWE production DVDs and some inferences made after you watch a shoot DVD and for some reason think you are a part of the business. Unless you stepped between those ropes and also know the guy first hand don't spout off at the mouth about what you think you know. "smart" marks are just as annoying as the run of the mill marks. Maybe I will join the cause and report all these customs as counterfeit. Then you can call me money hungry and what not.

I got a wrap that I'm too negative and never say anything positive, but I'm breaking character here by professing my love for you. I agree with everything you said. Warrior has every right to protect his intellectual property.

lol this thread got intellectually- disabled, i didnt even read most of it, I never said Warrior didnt have the right to shut down my Auction, I Said He was Pathetic for doing so, I never said he didnt have the right to do whatever with his time even if that meant watching ebay to shut down customs, I said he was a Douchebag for doing so. Im not here to argue, I was just sharing a story that attracted you to argue something with me that I had no idea was up for debate.
at the end of the day, I find it funny that a Celebrity who made more in one year then ill make in who knows how many years shut down a Custom Toy I Bought and painted, Because he felt it infringed his rights or whatever, I dont even care, It just makes me realize hes a petty b yatch. and for the sake of argument, he is in the right to be so, but regardless, doesnt change my opinion of the guy..... The Ultimate Warrior is a tool....

I'm saving for something special for my 3000th post here, but hell this is worth responding to for my 2999th post.
Apoc: If it's any re-assurance, your custom is light-years better than Warrior's 1 of 5 from Mattel that looks like the American Flag threw up all over his white jacket.
