Texas vs. Canada.
It just takes one of our states to beat an entire country!
But, really, both gave us so many great wrestlers. Too hard to call.

Texas vs. Canada. It just takes one of our states to beat an entire country! But, really, both gave us so many great wrestlers. Too hard to call. No kidding! Population wise, pretty similar though. Maybe a cool Dream Survivor Series could be arranged. Minnesota has a good gene pool as well. |

Texas easily IMO. Mainly because most of the Texas wrestlers were World Champs/Main Eventers (Rhodes Family, Funks, Austin etc) and a lot of the Canadians (listed) were more on the mid card level. Bret, Martel, Edge, Christian, Jericho and Benoit are the only top tier World Champions for that list. Both Funks, Dusty Rhodes, Austin, HBK, Taker, Hansen, Henry, Kerry and David Von Erich, JBL, Barry Windham, Eddie....all were world champions in big companies.

Carpentier, Kiniski, and Watson were all NWA World Champs...back when it meant something...and Kowalski was a WWWF champ...Piper, Vachon and Abdullah put some asses in seats for a long, long time.
That Texas lineup is ridiculously strong though.

I didnt count Carpentier because I thought the NWA doesnt recognize the title switch. Kowalski was never the WWWF champion though. He did hold a Tag Title. However even by adding those three to Canada, Texas still almost doubles them. Plus you can add Booker T, Dick Hutton (NWA Champ) to the Texas list. |

Its not something that can really be "passed down" through Generations. He wasnt born in Canada and as far as I know he's not a legal citizen of Canada so he's not Canadian. Rocky Johnson on the other hand, a legal citizen of Canada, is Canadian. |

Pretty hard to pit anything against Texas tbh, no other state is nearly as much of a factory. In terms of women's wrestling though Canada is by far much better. There are really only two legit schools in Canada in the first place so you have to account for that too.
