That show was absolute crap. Screw it and screw Money in the Bank too. Truth/Kofi vs Hunico/Camacho? Where the heck are the Primetime Players? Frickin Sin Cara in MITB? Over Slater? Over Ryder? Over McIntyre? Over Khali? I hate Sin Cara. King vs Cole for the 1000th time in celebration of 1000 episodes of Raw? And people voted for it? Anonymous GM is back. Ugh. Hornswoggle? Bullcrap. Cena/Big Show/Kane is a clunky mess. Drew getting squashed by the fat moron Brodus Clay? What a waste. Jeez the hate in this thread is getting annoying. I agree that the cole and lawler match and the anonymous gm where awful, but dissing a pay per view because of a lousy show is dumb in my opinion. If you dont like the show then don't watch it. Yeah, well I already spent $700 on tickets for the PPV, so you'll have to excuse me for being ticked off that they didn't bother to build up much of anything other than Punk/Bryan. I wouldn't care about a crap Raw if the PPV had good matches but it doesn't. Cena/Kane/Show/Jericho is 3 guys who can't even climb a ladder clunking around the ring for 30 minutes. Sheamus/Alberto are two guys that can't get over that didn't happen twice already and I celebrated each time it didn't. Smackdown MITB has some solid picks (Kidd, Ziggler, Rhodes) but it also has some pure wastes of space (Santino, Sin Cara) that could have gone to real talent like Drew Mcintyre, Heath Slater, or Zack Ryder. And Kofi/Truth vs..... Hunico and Camacho? In the pre show none the less? That makes no sense whatsoever. I'm usually a pretty big supporter of WWE even when they're not so great, but this is a blatant middle finger to people who are watching/attending MITB. Bottom line is right now they're so preoccupied with their 1000th Raw nonsense that the PPV is getting screwed.

So please explain, how 3 of them can't climb a ladder?

Oh, I will add one more positive thought... I really liked the backstage segment between Punk and Eve. I like Eve as a heel, I think she plays the role fantastically. I loved the fact that she pointed out that Punk's reign as Champion, however long, has been completely overshadowed by other stars. Punk's reaction almost seemed to suggest that he hadn't thought much of it before. I'm likely reading too much into that, but it would be great for that to start eating away at Punk and have some aggression really start to come out in his character, especially if they start heading in the direction of Punk/Cena, that way we can get some snappy, aggressive promos out of the two of them. I loved the segment as well, probably my favorite part of the entire show. I was actually caught off guard by how good Eve came off in the whole thing, and it definitely hit close to home for Punk. 7 months as champion, and Punk hasn't gotten the opportunity to stand in his own spotlight. Eve is pretty cerebral as a heel, which is really refreshing since she seems to have layers to her character. I'm a fan of what she has been doing back to when she started kissing Ace's ass.

I felt like this RAW wasn't very good. Then again, I wasn't really paying attention. I hope I'm wrong when I rewatch it.

While I must admit I am intrigued by Money in the Bank, and think it has potential to be a pretty solid show, you nailed that last part right on the head. Money in the Bank is a complete and total afterthought. It's all about Raw 1000, without a doubt. I'm not saying they shouldn't be hyping Raw 1000, but there should have been some careful and strategic planning way ahead of time to ensure that they didn't phone Money in the Bank in. It has "throwaway" written all over it.

I still don't see how it's going to bad... You're writing off a match before it even happens.. is there any wonder you won't enjoy it when your mind is set on it been a bad match? That's the problem with alot of people here, you judge before it happens.

I always see the positives in RAW, but I was so close to turning my TV off this this week.
Terrible RAW!

That's the problem with alot of people here, you judge before it happens. I've seen enough Big Show matches and Cena matches that I wouldn't really say I'm judging it BEFORE it happens . But seriously, you both make good (and realistic) points. The thing with this PPV is, sure, it could wind up being ok, it could even be good. BUT there's no reason why it shouldn't be great every year. The money in the bank matches are pretty much freebies for WWE Creative; they just pick 8 guys for each and it's hard to go wrong with it. For some reason, they crippled one of them to only have 4 people AND knocked out one of their main event draws at the same time. Then they crippled the rest of the card by putting the IC and US champions in the other match. Everyone thought they'd add Miz or Rey... nothing. Some former WWE Champion Legends in the match might be a fun way to promote both MITB and Raw 1000 at the same time... nothing. So then I figured that they'd hype something else instead (tag title match, for example) but all we got was... nothing much. As a fan who always tries to enjoy the positives and ignore the nonsense, who always PAYS for every PPV, and who always attends as many live shows as possible, this was simply more of a let down than anything else, and the negativity did just get the better of me this time. Of course, I'll still go to the PPV and have a good time, but as a fan, it is extremely frustrating to see things that I legitimately don't care about such as the countless commercials for social media gimmicks on Raw 1000 instead of actual build for the PPV.

It was an ok show. It did its job in making us think about who AJ will end up siding with at MiTB.

Today's RAW was bad today. I had to tune out for a couple of minutes to watch DeGrassi, something I barely do. There were a few things I liked on the show. Even though he won a 2 minute qualifier, I like that Sin Cara is going to be in the World Title Money in the Bank Ladder Match, but I wish Sin Cara would start using La Mistica. The move he does is basically a incomplete Mistica. I gotta admit, the Bob Backlund segment was funny as hell, but was so disappointed he barely got a reaction to the crowd. I am amazed he's looks the same as 1994. The rest looked horrible. The first hour alone only got 3 minutes of wrestling in 3 matches. The Santino segments were horrible as well. I can't believe I used to mark out when he appeared, now I got sick of him and wishes he would lose the US Title. Hornswoggle as Anonymous GM made me want to break something, but at least they revealed who it was.

I hope whoever wrote this Raw, weather it be one person, or a team, all get lined up against the wall and done away with, gunfire and all. I hope the raitings show how deplorable this RAW was.

AJ, Bryan, and Punk did a fine job with the material.
It was redundant, prolonged and cliche as it could have turned out to be, but I was entertained.
Oh, and Bob Backlund seemed to be in great shape, for a man in his 60's, and the Crossface Chickenwing was executed wonderfully.
Cena/Kane vs. Jericho/Show was an ok match, that's about it, terrible show aside from my points above.

Raw had potential but failed... After the 1000th Raw things better pick up.
BTW what happened to orton1994 and the real Juice? The new Juice has made some stupid posts that the old Juice wouldn't do and didn't the real Juice say on FB that he'll be back after a little while?...
