I was a bit surprised that Big Nog got Submission Of The Night for that arm-bar... I thought for sure Demian Maia would get it for that nasty head-crank. Or maybe even Phil Davis for that sweet anaconda-choke. To be fair, Herman has never been submitted.

I just think they both seemed more impressive than a pretty standard arm-bar. Still, it was great to see Big Nog submit Herman, after what he had been saying, lol. And where does Nog go from here? I'll put it out there now - I demand a third fight with Frank Mir. Oh yes, I said it.

Werdum and Nogueira should be the next coaches of TUF Brazil.

I know I talk about him a lot, but how about Nogueira? Dude comes in on about 1 month notice and absolutely kicks ass against a bigger, younger guy? Incredible performance.

Why is everyone so impressed with Anderson Silva in that fight? He fought Stephan Bonner. Stephan Bonner. STEPHAN BONNER. I mean c'mon. I like Anderson and everything, but you guys are acting like this was actually going to be a fight or something. That's like watching Dwayne Wade go 1 on 1 against Snooki in basketball and be like "OMG!! Dwayne Wade is the greatest ever!!! No one can beat him!!"
Of course he's going to look amazing when he fight sub-par opponents. Give him some real LHW to fight next time.

This is the same guy who went the distance with John Jones and even won a round. The point isn't that he beat him. It's that Anderson made this guy look like he started training yesterday.

Where do I start? That fight with Jon jones was nearly 4 years ago and Jon jones is a completely different fighter now. Guarantee that if they fight now, Jones will destroy him in the first round. And I don't care how much of a "professional fighter" you are, if you are a 18 to 1 underdog, then obviously you aren't regarded as much of a fighter.

UFC 153 drug tests have come back and turns out that Stephan Bonnar tested positive for Drostanolone, which is an anabolic steroid.
And not that anyone cares, but Dave Herman also tested positive for marijuana.

Not even steroids could give Bonnar a fighting chance.

Not even steroids could give Bonnar a fighting chance. And if he would have somehow won, he'd be gone for a year and have the win removed from his record. What a baffling decision.
