Very nice version of RAW 1000. The Christian/Kidd match was excellent and any time you put Bryan and Punk together, there's sure to be fireworks. The whole thing with Triple H and Heyman worked perfectly as it mirrored what actually happened. I feel like there should be a special stipulation, like Hell in a Cell or last man standing. I wonder why Undertaker, Kane, and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin were missing. Those three were integral parts of RAW for years and to have them left off the biggest night in the show's history was puzzling. The Wyatt/Harper attack on Foley was well-done and proved that just because RAW is being celebrated, doesn't mean it can't produce a sad moment. Interesting choice having Clay challenge Sheamus as I never envisioned him as a title contender. Great way for Bryan to remain champion without actually beating Punk. It's pretty obvious Punk and Rhodes will wrestle at SummerSlam, which I'm all for. About time Rhodes enters the main-event scene. Overall, first time reading your diary and I love it. Looks like you have a great SummerSlam card on your hands.

- Following the signing of 3 indy stars last week in Sara Del Rey, Jay Lethal, and PAC. It has been confirmed that three more talents have signed with the WWE. Alex Shelley who has been rumoured for some time will be finishing a tour with New Japan Pro Wrestling, then head to WWE. Many indy stars were also congratulating ROH's Michael Elgin on twitter, to which he announced that he had indeed signed with WWE. The last name is surprising, but not really considering his strong friendship with CM Punk, but Colt Cabana announced that it's not often you get a second chance at living your childhood dream, and that you won't be seeing Scotty Goldman this time around.
- Many were surprised that Steve Austin didn't appear for Raw 1000 this past Monday, but he said on twitter that he had leg surgery last week and didn't think it was worth the fans time to see a less than 100% Stone Cold Steve Austin.
- Bray Wyatt, & Luke Harper (indy star Brodie Lee) debut'd on Raw this past week, attacking Mick Foley. Bray was rumoured to debut with a big push, but injury has somewhat forced him to take a managerial role for Harper. More importantly, the fan that attacked Mick Foley in the same segment was development star, Dean Ambrose.

Very unique lineup of RAW 1000 here. Sheamus picking up the victory over Brodus in the opener was a solid way to follow up the opening segment with DX. Kind of wish you went a different way than Sandow interupting DX but it still works. Cesaro using the Ricola Bomb is something I thought of doing, but it's essentially the Batista Bomb, so I opted against it and used the running european uppercut. But to each his own. Suprirsed to see Brock appear so early in the show but liked the segment and that the roster had to come out to break up the brawl. Lol at Kelly getting squashed by Kharma. Very cool match with Christian facing Kidd with Edge and Bret at ringside. Goldberg and Slater is something I considered as well but opted against because It didn't fit into the feel of my show, but I feel like his appearence fits well in the RAW 1000 you've booked. Cool eight man tag match and glad to see some of these guys getting time on RAW 1000. Did not expect Scott Steiner to be in the battle royal. Man i wish they would've used him in real life. Very interesting ending. Not sure what to make of it honestly. Doesn't seem as big of an ending as RAW 1000 deserved. Seemed like something that would end any regular RAW, not a RAW 1000. Besides the ending I thought everything was very solid and loved the uniqueness of it all.

WWE RAW 1000: Monday 23rd July 2012...I'm surprised we didn't see the new logo in the overhead logo banner thing. Anyhow, onto the show. Triple H and Shawn Michaels bringing out the former members of D-Generation X was cool, essentially keeping everything in including the part with Damien Sandow. I didn't like Sheamus defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Brodus Clay; great opportunity, sure, but it did less for Brodus than you think. I didn't see why the World title was at stake anyway. Looking forward to how this picture with Wade Barrett and Sheamus works out; don't rush the title onto Barrett too quick anyway. Antonio Cesaro and Dolph Ziggler? Great combination, and a good tag team win against Santino Marella and Chris Jericho, keeping Ziggler and Jericho safe with Cesaro putting Santino away. Please give Cesaro another move, that Ricola Bomb move doesn't look devastating at all. Brock Lesnar and Triple H's feud continues, again essentially taken from the actual show. Be nice to see you mix up their feud headed into SummerSlam. Kharma destroying Kelly Kelly was alright. Layla, Trish Stratus and Lita managing to overthrow her was cool, but I hope Kharma gets her lost momentum back quickly. Piper's Pit with John Cena was great. I did not expect Ric Flair to be revealed as the RAW General Manager, but I love it. Daniel Bryan and CM Punk in the Steel-Cage sounds great. I see Punk leaving as WWE Champion to go on and face John Cena at SummerSlam, easily. Would be cool to see Bryan face Cena though. Christian beating Tyson Kidd was fine, would have been great to see the WWE Intercontinental Championship surprisingly change hands, though. Also got Edge and Bret Hart on the show, too. Enjoying the APA nostalgia segments backstage. Todd Pettingill hahaha. Where's the Coach tonight? Huh, you got Bill Goldberg in I see. Great closure for the Heath Slater vs the Past angle. Eh, the Brothers of Destruction angle remaining in was what it was, destroying various undercarders. Didn't prove too much a purpose. Great combination match up with Sin Cara, Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston and R-Truth settling the score against the Prime Time Players, Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre. Fun bout, forwarding the feuds. Mick Foley's promo was great, didn't expect Bray Wyatt (though I was anticipating Dean Ambrose). Wow, Luke Harper and Bray Wyatt making an impact, assaulting Mick. Hm, I don't think Raven would have been in the Old School battle royal following his lawsuit against the WWE. Scott Steiner would have been hard to see in there, too. But the right decision made to have Steiner win. Especially after beating Rikishi. The Rock's promo seemed thrown in there, but it got us the WWE Championship match to be excited for in January at the Royal Rumble. Daniel Bryan winning the WWE Championship!? I'm shocked, but see John Cena taking the title at SummerSlam. Cody Rhodes and CM Punk's angle should be great, putting over Cody as a headliner talent. AJ as the mastermind of Cody's assault? Interesting. Overall, a good show, but a little overkill in my mind. Either way, enjoyed reading it and it'll be interesting to see where everything launches from here.

July 25th 2012 - NXT Championship Tournament Kassius Ohno def. Justin Gabriel via pinfall. The opening contest of NXT this week was a real solid back n forth match that was nearly given as much time as the main event normally gets. The crowd were behind Justin Gabriel but the finish of the match arrived with Gabriel missing the 450 Splash, struggling to his feet, only to be knocked back down by Ohno's KO Elbow. Ohno hooked the leg to pick up the victory and advance in the tournament.
- Paige def. Raquel Diaz via pinfall. Last week, Raquel Diaz made her debut, claiming that Paige was going to be the first victim of Raquel's "exfoliating ugliness tour" A fun short match, where it looked like Raquel was going to be correct, but Paige was able to counter the Gory Bomb in to a roll up to pick up the victory.
- Big E. Langston def. Mike Dalton via pinfall. The mammoth of a man, Big E. Langston made his debut this week, destroying poor Mike Dalton in a quick squash match. Langston put Dalton away with "big ending" an over the shoulder ace cutter.
- Seth Rollins, Richie Steamboat & Percy Watson def. Corey Grieves, Jake Carter & Leo Kruger via pinfall. Seth Rollins and Richie Steamboat won their NXT Championship Tournament matches last week, defeating Corey Grieves, and Leo Kruger, both are are in this match. Each pairing was joined by Percy Watson and Jake Carter for a fun six man tag match. The finish eventually arrived with Seth putting Carter away with a devastating superkick. The faces raised the hands in celebration after the bell.
The cameras turn to the back where Raquel Diaz is attacking Paige in the locker room. Raquel is screaming that she told Paige she'd make a statement out of her. Raquel grabs a lipstick and draws over Paige's face to end the segment.
- NXT Championship Tournament Evan Bourne def. Heath Slater via pinfall. Evan Bourne makes his surprising return from injury to take part in the NXT Title Tournament, taking on a man who only two days ago was destroyed by Goldberg on Raw 1000. Slater and Bourne had a really fun back n forth match where at times it looked like either man was going to advance. The finish arrived with Slater lifting Bourne to the top rope, looking to connect with a superplex. Bourne would kick Slater off the turnbuckle and quickly hit the Shooting Star Press to pick up the victory and advance in the tournament.
Following the bell, the cameras head to the back where Dusty Rhodes is standing. He tells the cameras that he has a major announcement involving the NXT Championship. He says that instead of having semi-final matches, he just wants to get straight to crowning the champion and has decided that next week's main event will be the four tournament winners, Seth Rollins, Richie Steamboat, Kassius Ohno and Evan Bourne, doing battle in a fatal four way match for the NXT Championship. Dusty says good luck to those involved as NXT comes to an end.
July 26th 2012 - Curt Hawkins & Tyler Reks def. The Uso's via pinfall. Entertaining tag team action to kick off Superstars this week with fan favourite, The Uso Brothers taking on Hawkins & Reks. The finish to the match arrived with Hawkins & Reks hitting a Powerslam/Heat Seeking Elbow combination on Jay Uso.
- Tamina Snuka def. Natalya via pinfall. Fun diva's action with two of the hardest hitting women in the division. Natalya and Tamina battled back n forth before Natalya charged at Tamina in the corner, only for Tamina to hit the super kick out of no where. Tamina would then go to the top rope, and connect with the superfly splash made famous by her father to pick up the victory.
- Jinder Mahul def. Alex Riley via submission. A fairly average match, but Jinder seems to be improving with time. The crowd were clearly behind Riley who has been in a drought in his career since leaving The Miz. The finish to the match arrived with Jinder Mahul locking in his deadly Camal Clutch, leaving Riley no choice but to tap out.
- Trent Barreta def. Michael McGillicutty via pinfall. The main event of the evening saw the returning Trent Barreta take on 2nd generation star, Michael McGillicutty. A really fun back n forth match that featured a bit of every style, but eventually the match finished with McGillicutty lifting Barreta up for a suplex only for Trent to counter it in to a small package to pick up the surprising victory. Trent flee'd from the ring in celebration as a livid McGillicutty looked on in shock from the ring.

NXT, my favorite hour of the week. Ohno vs. Gabriel sounds like a really good match, actually. One I'd love to see. Glad to see Ohno get the victory, make him a killer Jesus beard elbow throwing monster. Yay! Paige wins another match! I'd like to see the feud with Raquel continue. Not sure if there's many other options, anyways. Poor Dalton and his Ziggler-wannabee hair. I kinda like Langston. Curious to see what you do with him once he's past the squash phase. Four of my favorite stars on the NXT brand in a match with two of my least favorite guys on the entire roster. At least it didn't seem like Watson and Kruger were the focus of the match. Good win for the faces, giving Rollins and Steamboat the momentum for the semi-finals. Raquel, you bitch! But it looks like the feud is continuing, so cool! I love the idea of Bourne being on NXT. A well enough built face who could do some wonders for the brand. Seems kind of odd to just can the semi finals and head straight into the championship match, but that four way looks sick, so I'm not complaining. Hoping Rollins becomes the inaugural champion.
