I am really glad that I didn't want these as badly as I want the regular cartoon and movie Turtles, because this was really bad. 40 Minutes of refreshing, I finally get them to add to my cart, click complete order, and then they sold out. So close, yet so far. Stupid idiot me over here still refreshing hoping somebody's payment got declined. |

The figure gods shined on me and I got a set.
I do have a question for those of you who are more seasoned in the Neca game than I am (Just got into it this summer).
I got a Mikey from Ebay. Seller had it listed as GameStop exclusive. It did not have Gamestop tag.
The Mikey itself looks legit compared to the knockoffs, but I'm still not sure. My hangup is the nunchucks. In all of the unboxing videos I've seen, the nunchucks appear to be two small strings. Mine are a single black wire. Did I get a knockoff or was there a running change to the nunchucks?
Is there any other foolproof way to tell if the Mikey is a KO?

Missed the Super 7 Stockman hoping for a 2nd chance like they did with Prince Adam, but got an email that wave is in their warehouse and will be shipping soon.

Like probably many other collectors, I have reluctantly had to accept I can't afford to collect both the NECA and the Super7 lines. I've decided to go all-in on the NECA line since it's cartoon accurate, and just get the four Turtles from Super7. I feel so disappointed though.

I have some family that lives overseas and debated sending one Magical Mutagen Tour from the NECA International orders to their address yesterday , as they were still there when I looked. I even put in the address and it looks like it would’ve been $175 to ship there. Then I just figured with state of things right now and not knowing when and how I will see them next, it wouldn’t be fair to them to have them responsible for that big piece.

saw a NECA rep yesterday at Target who said he was going to come back today to do a reset for the NECA section, he said it would be late morning/early afternoon, so I hit up the Target by 11, nothing had changed, the guy wasn't there.
Went to get lunch, circled back around to the Target by like 12:30 and saw the rep there putting the NECA section together, didn't bother him, so I walked around for a while, came back when he was almost finished and ZERO Turtles anywhere, asked him if this store had any, and he told me they wouldn't be sold at that Target.
Devastating to say the least. I really thought this was my chance to get it.

i wish hasbro had the turtles line, at least their stuff hits retail stores in mass quantities They have Hasbro Pulse. It’s the difference between them and everyone else right now. No sign of Casey or Metal Head. I might just try and buy Casey loose on eBay. I really don’t want to do this run around game. Not sure what I’ll do with the COoTS set. That one is too expensive to get second hand. If I don’t see it I’ll just have to let it be a thing I don’t own, which is sad based on my sentimental attachment with that whole deal. I’m pretty much done collecting the Toon Turtles line. I want to get Casey and I might try for Splinter once we see those pics but I’m all in on Super7 now. I have the first three waves ordered. At the end of the day, I’d rather have updated versions of my childhood toys than the cartoon. I loved both, but NECA has really made this decision for me. I’ll stick with the movie stuff, as I seem to have monumentally better luck with Walmart. |

I found one Casey/Foot Soldier set at the Target near my job on Tuesday, so I've been checking my home Target every day this week for Metalhead. Nothing showed up. Not even a hint that a Neca rep or vendor visited my store.
