Wondering if someone knows what I am talking about and can help me out:
Back in February, someone on Reddit who worked for Playmates or a partner company released mockups of a TMNT/Evil Dead crossover toy and plans. There was a thread about it on Technodrome Forums.
But that reddit post is long gone, and now the pictures are not popping up on Technodrome either.
Did anyone happen to save those by any chance? When I read about that, it was an obsession of mine for about a week.

I officially went in on some Super 7 Turtles even though I haven't paid much attention to them or been a fan up to this point.
The price points are pretty outrageous IMO but the Glow in the Dark Mutagen Ooze versions are some of the coolest turtles I've ever seen. Wish I had seen these earlier so I could pre-order them with the company but I found a decent set via auction. I was deciding between those and just grabbing one of each in the wild outfits (Sewer Surfer Mike, Basketball Don, Space Cadet Raph and Samurai Leo) but I went with the glow versions instead, they look awesome. I also picked up Leatherhead because he's cheap, cool looking and I like to have 1 villain per turtle scale I collect.
I also bought a UV flashlight to keep them bright and cool looking!
Not sure I can justify the party wagon though unless I can trade someone for that or something. 450 bucks is pretty nuts. But ideally I eventually end up with that to put these in and call it a day for Super 7.

I should have my Nerd Card revoked. I live in Parsippany, literally 90 seconds from where that convention is being held, and had NO idea it existed.

If you get the chance to snag Slash and the Slam Dunkin Don from Super7 (especially for a sale price) I highly recommend them. Donnie is just crazy fun and Slash is my favorite version of the character in figure form, just a really great figure. I never did get those glowing turtles but they did look great. I got a few new NECA figures a few days ago. Vacation Bebop/Rocksteady, Toon Slash, Movie Tatsu, and Mirage Karai. I've only opened the Karai so far, but she's great. Really like her a lot.
I also got the Super7 Karai fairly recently too. She's another good one, definitely more reminiscent of the 2003 show or the 2007 movie kinda design, whereas the NECA one is very comic-specific. Honestly really like both.

I had to take a break because I definitely have gone down an expensive rabbit hole haha. Seeing that there's never been a Krang, I ended up grabbing that Super7 Krang 'Cyber Machine' or whatever it is, which is a high price point but looks to me like it scales pretty well with the glow turtles. Unfortunately that elbowed out Slash for me for the time being, but you're right, it looks amazing. Slam Dunk Don looks great too...but I'm going to end it with Super 7 at these glow figures. I am not a huge, huge undying fan of the old Playmates stuff...it ran its course for me as a kid, so I def appreciate the tributes but I can't see myself collecting every Super7 figure, especially at 50 or 60 bucks a pop. Slash I can get to eventually though

Slash I can get to eventually though I'm right there with you haha. I'm definitely a lot more pick-and-choose with the Super7 stuff, especially since I'm pretty deep on the various NECA lines. But Super7 always manages to catch my eye with some of the more obscure and unique stuff they do. In other TMNT news, and speaking of Slash, I opened up the new NECA Toon version the other day. I was never a big fan of the toon interpretation overall, and the original figure in the Leatherhead two-pack was never a favorite of mine. Gotta say though, this new one is a VERY nice upgrade, he's a lot of fun and the pastel colors on his armor and belt look great against the bright green skin. A big improvement over the old toon one (though, as mentioned, I still prefer the Super7 version).
