Do you think the 1000th Raw will be the starting place for the big summer angle if they plan on doing on this year, if so what do you want it to be?
2011 - Pipebomb
2010 - Nexus
There's been nothing this year as big as the previous 2 years to keep people hooked, the majority will agree that WWE is just on filler mode for the next few weeks until that show.
I definitely the big angle starting at 1000th Raw, something around Punk/Rock/Cena

Like I said before, I see Rock either challenging Punk to a match on RAW or Summerslam, winning the title, Cena cashing in on Rock, and maybe turning heel. Or maybe the new GM turns into some sort of storyline...maybe Austin is the GM again and feuds with Punk? Who knows? But I can't wait!

Will be something to do with the Attitude Era, and invasion from Attitude Era stars or something. A new Attitude Era dvd coming out and WWE 13 being focused on the Attitude Era, somethings up.

Nah. Their big Summer angle is meant to be Brock Lesnar vs Triple H, and look how well that's catching on.

Yes MITB is Sunday and the build has been nothing like last year to say the least... hoping the 3 hr RAW does change their game... going to 3 hrs should afford mid card and tag team building and if it doesn't well then what a waste really
Hoping the new GM strips the US title from Santino and builds a super tournament to help put that belt back up the prestige ladder a bit... could be worth a try... could even keep the tourni going till Maniabut with most WWE fans attention spans it could only last till SummerSlam lol

I'm hoping for something huge, but I'm certainly not expecting it. If you are, you're setting yourself up for a possibly huge disappointment.

It's good to see that you people are so hopeful that the 3 hour Raw will be game changing, and something new, and exciting. But let's be honest, the WWE has hyped shows like this before, and yes, they bring back some old stars, and they interact, but it's still never as good as it could be.
I have a feeling that the following day after that 1000th Raw, everyone will be somewhat let down.
And then the following week, when the 3 hour Raw's are a permanent thing, watch as still no new guys get pushes, because it just means more talk, more re-cap, and more 3 minute squash matches.
How I long for the days of 2005 when HBK and Shelton wrestled for 20 minutes, or Edge and Orton in 2004 wrestling for 20 minutes. What happened WWE, what happened??

I really want it to be a game changer. There were spoilers a few weeks ago when Mcmahon was returning that it would be the start of a "New Era". IF that was true, I'm guessing they put it off until the 1000th Raw. That'd make more sense at least.
I kind of have a feeling that they have something big planned for Summerslam. Especially since now they're marketing it as the "Second Wrestlemania".

You can't manufacture a new era, one just has to happen. I have zero expectation for the 1000th Raw. Right now, we have a bunch of big time Legends/Stars and 3 hours to work with to make something happen. Nexus didn't change the era, Punk sadly didn't change the era (wasn't allowed), so what is it that people are expecting? Linda McMahon is under a microscope and still campaigning, which means WWE is under the same microscope. An era change is a directional change, and allowing fans to vote on matches and storyline scenarios doesn't really define that change imo, not to mention I personally think it's a terrible idea.
People are getting really excited about this like the Earth is going to reverse its rotation. I'm trying to stay grounded to eliminate any disappointment.
