I saw that too. I don't know. I assumed AJ was jealous of CM Punk's success. But if he's TNA's poster boy, why would he let that bother him. It would be like admitting TNA was second rate.

I always thought it had something to do with the ROH and TNA deal during the weekly ppv days. Something to do with AJ choosing TNA over ROH. I seem to remember CM Punk saying something about it before.

I too thought it was when TNA pulled its talent from ROH. They (Punk, Styles, Joe, & Daniels) had to decide where to go. Punk picked ROH & Styles picked TNA. The heat might have been from there.

I don't know what their problems are with each other,but both are in my top ten favorites of all time.Maybe Punk is pissed because AJ is a better in ring worker(which he really is)but probably more so that Styles ask the fan to cover up his CM Punk shirt for the picture.I am guess AJ ask him to due it sense it would be promoting the WWE and would look to good if the picture got on line with AJ and a fan dress up as Punk.

If I'm AJ Styles, the face of TNA, I'm probably not going to take pictures with fans wearing WWE shirts either. Everything ends up on the internet in 2012, AJ seems like he is just protecting the brand. And, it sounds like Punk is just being a smartass to me. Maybe they have heat, I can't imagine why, but I don't think any of that seems too serious.

Chances are any indy show that AJ is on, other than ROH and maybe PWG, he would be the best performer on that show. With that said, I wouldn't take a picture with a fan with a shirt from another company who isn't even on the show if I was AJ Styles and I was the best performer on said show.

Chances are any indy show that AJ is on, other than ROH and maybe PWG, he would be the best performer on that show. With that said, I wouldn't take a picture with a fan with a shirt from another company who isn't even on the show if I was AJ Styles and I was the best performer on said show. I would. I mean, who gives a damn what shirt they're wearing as long as their a fan of the business. I don't like Hulk Hogan but if I was a wrestler, I'd take a pic with a fan wearing a Hogan shirt... |

I met Dixie Carter 4 years in a row and have 4 pictures with her. 1 Year I'm wearing a 'Tapout' Hat and a 'ROH' Hoodie. The year after I was wearing a Kurt Angle t-shirt. The year after that, I think it was some TNA merch, but the point is - if the head of the company don't care. Why would AJ?
