watching WCW souled out 2000, and one thing that always impressed me was their cages. now the 'cage' used here, is more sturdy than the WWF's Hell in a Cell, that was used as a high spot and failed under the pressure! i took screen caps of the difference, to show you. Whats your opinions on this? how wwf had the bar cage, mesh cage, hiac, improved hiac and elimination chamber, compared to wcw' mesh cage, roofed mesh sd2 style cage, tripple cage, hiac cage, wargames cages and any others i missed. i personally give WCW a 1up against WCW as far as cage matches go in my opinion

I always did love WCW's cages. Remember the cage Savage jumped from? He did a double axe handle onto Hogan, I think there was someone else in the ring, too.
I want to say it was Halloween Havoc? It was a black bar cage that surrounded the ring like the Cell. It wasn't nearly sturdy enough for Randy to jump from but he did it anyway. Not only was it rickety, but it was extremely tall. At least 12-14 feet in real life, not '20 feet' wrestling terms.
What a dangerous idea. He must have come up with it in the ring because I can't imagine anyone suggesting he do that. If you can find the footage, watch it. He nearly breaks his legs.

i found the doomsday cage i forgot about. sorry the wcw/wwf isnt 2 sided, but im sure any real wrestling fan can tell whats what. I always did love WCW's cages. Remember the cage Savage jumped from? I remember what your talking about

I always liked the WCW cages. I wish WWE would adopt some of those and really do something different than the standard HIAC (which is just a glorified cage because it's too big to do spots off anymore)/cage/elimination chamber.

While WCW's cages were a lot better looking, their cage matches were inferior to WWE's

I just really liked WCW...
Super soft spot for the triple stack cage, minus Vince Russo actually being in one of those matches.
