Dont bash me for this put Id throw Billy Gunn's name in there, he had succesfull tag team runs with three different teams. Smokin' Guns, New Age Outlaws, and Billy & Chuck.

The British Bulldog:
The British Bulldogs. Bulldog & Owen. Bulldog and Neidhart.
All great teams.
I'd throw Bart Gunn in there too, The Movement (with Johnny Ace) and Smokin' Gunns were both awesome teams.
Jim Neidhart of COURSE:
New Foundation. Hart Foundation. Bulldog and Neidhart.

Could put Edge in there too. Built up his name in tag team wrestling, and would go on to have 13 tag team title reigns. You could consider Owen & Davey Boy, with their successful run as a team together, and then Owen had fairly successful pairings with Yokozuna and Jarrett, while Davey and Dynamite Kid formed one of wrestling's most well known teams in the Bulldogs. And I don't know if I'd call him a specialist, but I'd say Mick Foley gets at least a honorable mention, having had reigns as WCW, ECW and WWE Tag Team Champion. Plus, he also had lesser title runs with the CWA, SCW, USWA and WCWA Tag Team Titles.

Why not add Ricky Steamboat then??
He held tag belts with Paul Jones, Jay Youngblood, Dustin Rhodes, and Shane Douglas.

You know, I was thinking after my post, and going outside of the US, Hiroyoshi Tenzan would be another name, definitely deserving addition into the discussion. 9 Time IWGP Tag Team Champion, multiple times with Masahiro Chono and Satoshi Kojima 3 Time G1 Climax Tag League winner 2 time Real World Tag League winner (he and Kojima are the only team to win both the G1 Climax and Real World Tag Leagues) Super Grade Tag League winner 10,000,000 Yin Tag Tournament winner 3 time winner of New Japan's Best Tag Team Bout of the year 3 time winner of the Tokyo Sports Grand Prix Tag Team of the Year Yuke's Cup Tag Tournament winner one time winner of the Wrestling Observer Tag Team of the year

I'll be honest, I always knew Tenzan was an accomplished tag wrestler, but didn't realize how much so, until I checked, to make this post.

All great responses.
Maybe in retrospect, Im looking for guys who would be thought of as a "tag team guy" first and foremost.
Eaton, Brunzell, Rotundo, Lane, Anderson...all tag team specialists. A lot of the guys on my initial list would not be considered tag guys first though...i think Williams, Murdoch, Martel, Adonis...aall as singles guys first
Billy Gunn for sure...forgetable singles runs, but strong tag runs.
I consider Bulldog, Edge, Steamboat and Owen as singles guys, but they were in great tags.
Anvil, I consider a tag guy...but after the Hart Foundation, I wasnt a big fan of his later teams.

How about Tony Garea??
He held the WWWF tag titles 5 times with the likes of Dean Ho, Haystacks Calhoun, Larry Zbyszko and Rick Martel.

Garea definately. Not known for his singles work, but the cornerstone of many tags.
I didnt mention Kofi or Morrison....i dont consider them as classic.

I wouldn't say Kofi Kingston cause I never felt any of his tag teams seemed legit enough. To me it seemed like "okay... Kofi just dropped the US or IC Title, let's throw the tag belt on him for now with whoever."
How about Barry Windham??
Held the WWF Tag Belts with Rotunda, held the NWA tag belts with Lex Luger, held the WCW/NWA Tag Belts with Dustin Rhodes, and went on to hold the WCW Tag belts two more times with Curt Hennig and Bobby Duncum Jr.

Barry's awesome. I consider him a singles guy though.
