Arn Anderson without a shadow of a doubt. He's held tag titles with, Ole Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Larry Zbyszko, Bobby Eaton and Paul Roma. Was PWI Tag Team of the year twice...with 2 different partners. He also teamed successfully with many other wrestlers like Barry Windham, Ric Flair, Stunning Steve as well as Terry Funk. It's really hard for me to consider an argument in the #1 spot over Arn Anderson.

yeah we have to look at guys who were part of at least TWO great/sucessful teams that won titles.havent read any of the posts so far here.....trying to do this from memory
Arn Anderson springs to mind straight away......Andersons,Brainbusters,The Enforcers.
Gordy:Miracle Violence Connection & The Freebirds
Michael Hayes for being part of arguably 3 versions of Freebirds.man was a heck of a hand.
Billy Gunn:Smoking Gunns,New Age Outlaws & Billy and Chuck.
Bobby Eaton for both versions of The Midnight Express
Darsow for The Russians and Demolition
Davey Boy:The British Bulldogs & Owen and Davey
Barry Windham......has to be considered too.US Express,Luger & Dustin Rhodes.3 great teams IMO.
Stan Lane:the Fabs and ME
in a couple of years we will be considering James Storm.2 epic teams in AMW and Beer Money.
great topic BTW.+1

I'll throw Tito Santana out there since I haven't seen his name mentioned. He was tag champion with both Ivan Putski and Rick Martel. Aribba!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would say that Tito Santana is a lot like Kofi Kingston though. He kind of just got put with a partner cause they had nothing else for him to do and gave him the tag strap at that time.

Anyone else agree with me on Kane being one. He's had successful tags team runs with Big Show, Xpac, Mick Foley, Rvd, Hurricane and The Undertaker. The last three are some of my favorite tag teams.

your accomplishments with Eaton and Arn aren't complete, missing the fact that they were tag champs together and Arn's team with Larry Zbysko. That's not even going back to their early careers in Tennessee.
They are the best tag team wrestlers of all time though.
I'd also include Tully Blanchard for his time not only with Arn, but as the original Dynamic Duo with Gino Hernandez.

It's harder to include guys from 1995 - 2009 though, because the Tag Belts were pretty much used as just a prop during that time frame.
Rey Mysterio could be included as a tag specialist cause of that. He held WCW tag belts with Kidman, Konnan and Juvi. He held WWE tag gold with Edge, RVD, Eddie and Batista. But I wouldn't say Rey was a tag specialist, just the WWE gave him a lot of tag gold cause they didn't know what else to do at the time.

Eddie was a very mediocre tag team champion. Especially in a poor waterdown division

I'd have to say Edge was damn good with tag teams
Edge and Christian Edge and Mysterio Rated RKO
Plus the short lived Edge and Foley, Edge and Hogan, & Edge and Benoit
