CM Punk SamWhen approaching me in public, do not be rude.Say please. Introduce yourself.Have manners. Be considerate. Otherwise you'll be disappointed. I know some people have had some stories of Punk and said this is what you should do. Well he confirmed it haha.

I don't get why this has a thread in all honestly, It's pretty well known to everyone now that if you're rude to Punk and approach him wrong, he'll basic tell you to ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) off. And I can't say I blame him.

Punk strikes me as someone extremely moody towards fans. Like Wednesday morning he'd be going out of his way to sign stuff for them and then by Wednesday night he's be telling them to get the ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) out of his face.

Should've wrote whether to call him Phil or Punk He shouldn't have to. You never address a wrestler by their real name unless you know them personally.

He likes when people act like civilized human beings toward him? Huh, that's pretty weird. Certainly worthy of a thread.

I'd be a dick too if people did stuff like that to me.

It doesn't matter if your the most polite and respectful fan in the world. If Punk isn't in the mood, your going to be left feeling disappointed after meeting him regardless of your approach. I don't see why people make excuses for him. Yes, there are occasions when he's cool and will sign but the majority if the time, he's ignorant and rude. It doesn't matter what the approach or setting is.

It's their own personal time, and they can do whatever they want to do.

What's funny is that people think that it's his job to sign autographs or take pictures with you. Yes, it's part of being famous and in the spot light, but he is not being paid to be nice to you. I would never approach someone famous outside a designated signing. Just become they are fmous means they can't have personal lifes? During the actual shows are the only times he owes us anything. At airports and hotels, he doesn't owe you sh**.

The douchebag could at least say "Sorry, busy" or "Sorry, not the time" He doesn't like interacting with people? Then get the hell off of a program where thousands watch you weekly and a program where you are one of top faces.

You mean the salaries we pay to see them in the ring where they put their bodies on the line to entertain us? Didn't know that included the right to invade their personal lifes. They are people just like us. You fly on a plane for hours then have someone stick something in your face to sign. And I'm sure he doesn't go out of his way to be a dick. He may be moody, but who the hell wouldn't be?

WWE pay their superstars to wrestle and entertain us. Not to sign items for douchebags who approach them in airports, hotels, gyms etc

This is why I hate meeting famous people, there's really no point to it, even at a designated signing other than to get their signature as a piece of true fan memorabilia, which I agree with, but just to meet them to meet them? No thank you. The only Wrestlers I would want to converse with are Undertaker, Vince McMahon,Dusty Rhodes & Glenn Jacobs since I enjoy listening to his political lectures.
To continue the only things I'd really want to know (Storyline memoirs, clarifications & reasons for certain booking decisions would most likely come off as insults even though I would eat sections of canvas these men performed on due to the idea "to question one's decision only comes from reproach to the decision even though I would only be asking questions solely with the intent of learning from my greatest influences.
So... yeah, don't bother them unless you have a truly good reason.

Let me first start off by saying I'm a big punk fan, and I believe there is a time and a place to approach any famous person. Courtesy is a given but that's just given if your meeting someone new regardless if there famous or not.
Now let me say I understand what punk says, but I believe Punk is just a douche in general. He has this certain aura like he's better than everyone else (yes I know he calls himself the best in the world) but I'm talking about punk the person. He just seems like he genuinely doesn't give a crap about a lot of his fans. That's just my opinion but I just wanted to say that punk just doesn't seem like the type to be a nice guy in any atmosphere. But once again I don't know him, and he could be a real cool dude but I'll never know.
