Release Date: September 28 2012 (Americans get it 3 days earlier, ungrateful bastards) Formats: PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, Wii, PS2, PC, Mac, 3DS, PSP, PS Vita, Xperia Play (dunno what that is) & iOS Leagues: American Major League Soccer Australian A-League Austrian Bundesliga Belgian Pro League Brazillian Série A Czech Gambrinus Liga (Back after 1 year hiatus) Danish Superliga Dutch Eredivisie English Premiership, Championship, League 1 & League 2 French Ligue 1 & Ligue 2 German Bundesliga & 2. Bundesliga Irish League of Ireland Italian Serie A & Serie B Mexican Primera División Norwegian Tippeligaen Polish Ekstraklasa Portugese Primeira Liga Russian Premier League Saudi Professional League (First time in FIFA) Scottish Premier League South Korean K-League Spanish Liga BBVA & Liga Adelante Swedish Allsvenskan Swiss Axpo Super League Turkish Super League (Back after 1 year hiatus) Rest of World Teams: Argentina - Boca Juniors, CA River Plate, Racing Club Greece - AEK Athens, Olympiakos, Panathinaikos, PAOK Scotland - Rangers (speculated) South Africa - Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates Special - Classic XI, World XI (likely) Stadiums: Real: Tottenham Hotspur's White Hart Lane I figure this deserves a sticky, the FIFA threads are usually pretty busy. I chose today because EA Sports seem to be starting to talk a lot more about it - today they announced that Career Mode now includes countries (good news for big fans of the mode like me), and that your pro can be called up to them. They generally release news on their Twitter Feed, and from 8PM tonight they'll be taking questions on Career Mode. Other new features include 'Attacking Intelligence', an improved Player Impact Engine, 'Tactical Free Kicks', Skills Mode and a sideline reporter (have big hopes for this one in career mode, although I expect it to be more something the commentators talk to when a player is injured). For now should we just talk about predictions, new info and hopes for the game?

The more leagues the better but I cannot grasp why they have included the Saudi league and apparently every player from every club from the Saudi league has a star face, which is quite frankly ridiculous. Wish we has the Qatari league etc. but i'm sure we'll get that sooner to the 2022 World Cup. Excited to see the Turkish League back, was always using it on FIFA11.
About time we've got White Hart Lane back aswell.

SO EXCITED WITH ALL OF THESE UPDATES
I love Career Mode, but with its big overhaul last year I thought it might not change much. Looks like they've really improved it though, managing England and Man Utd at the same time is my FIFA wet dream. The Geoff Shreeves stuff sounds class too. Managers appearing on the touchline is great, although I expect it is just you rather than other teams aswell.

I would of quoted all the inclusions i'm looking forward but to be quite frank, i'd of quoted the whole post! Hoping when they say you can edit player appearance, I hope it is hair style's etc. and not just boots/shirt length. Thoroughly glad to read that the transfers have been re-written. Hope it signals the end of Benzema/Nani moving to Spurs and Lescott moving to Arsenal.

*If you are unhappy you now have the option to request a transfer, or request a loan to gain more match experience. *If fatigued or playing poorly the manager can now substitute your player.
Those sound good. Last week in my VP's career I moved from Portland to Napoli and instantly regretted it so I just simmed the entire season. Being able to request a transfer would mean I could've got out in January or moved on loan somewhere else immediately.
The second point is also good because as it is, you always play the full 90 minutes and never get subbed. Meaning my energy levels drop and I'm forced to sit out key games that I really want to play in but can't.
If you become a captain I would love there to be an option to "influence" the manager. After Napoli I moved to PSG and loved it, but Demba Ba pissed me off a few times with his greedy play and he cost us the Champions League. I want to be able to tell the manager to drop him and play Menez instead, who I link up better with.

What's the cheapest price for a pre-order? Found it for £39.98 at ShopTo, not going to pre-order it just yet but just enquiring.

I'm pre-ordering from Amazon as they are giving 10,000 EA Sports Club in-game credits, which apparently unlock stuff like the ability to edit players in career. Dunno how much 10,000 is relatively though.

This is amazing. You can unlock retro kits too which is a great idea. International Management has been a long time coming, and it helps make doing a 15 year long Career more interesting. I hope they do it right though and World Cups are every 4 years not every Season.
The ability to walk out of a Club mid way through a Season and view what offers are available at any time is great too, sometimes a Season can be a real drag and a change of scenery is needed before the end of the Season.
Wasn't aware of the Saudi League being added. Always have a soft spot for Leagues like this being added, would be cool to do a 'money earning' Season there towards the end of a Career Mode. Just wish they'd add the Argentinian League. Love the artwork too by the way. Hope White Hart Lane isn't the only new Stadium added, there are so many more that need to be on there, but we'll wait and see.
Literally can't wait for this, just hope the Youth Development has been slightly tweaked.

That all sounds so awesome, getting closer and closer to being like a Fifa/FM manager mode hybrid.
I would love it if they incorporated Pro Evos edit system so we could change kit colours even just for away kits or make stadiums. I still think giving out downloadable stadiums would make them loads of money, i'd download Goodison for a quid!
