As I said in another thread: I was hoping tonight would be a celebration of Raw's history with side stuff from the past while the story lines would be advanced in meaningful ways. What it ended up being was a jumble of a tribute show. Getting the old and bloated DX and Foley dancing with Clay just made me feel sad for the WWE and the Slater bit had worn thin. 3 feuds got shoved into a 6 man tag match, AJ is turned into a GM when she has shown no managerial ability and really no skill at anything. Just to many pointless segments to creates pops and 2 minute you-tube videos and twatter trends.

I loved it. Tonight I turned off any smarkness and I just enjoyed the show.

It was really good, the only downsize was trying to fit 5 hours of material into 3 hours. 3 hours as it is was hard to keep track of what happened, then adding in that it probly had less wrestling match time than the average 2 hour show, that was a let down. But the night did have a lot of really good moments.
Triple H and Stephanie was my favorite, HHH looked like a beast going toe to toe with Lesnar.
Overall though I can get over there not being a ton of quality wrestling because the show was meant to be a celebration of the last 1000 episodes, so all the legends and segments were justified. I expect to see some longer matches next week though.

Top to bottom id say best Raw ever, first Raw in years that I watched without fast forwarding anything. I don't understand how you can be disappointed I got exactly what I expected and loved every second of it, thats why I tuned in.
Just DX at the beginning was enough for me but Daniel Bryan freaking out, the Rocks announcement, Undertaker coming back to help Kane, Punks turn, Brock and HHH brawl, a little APA and lita, and I laughed out loud hard for the hand coming back(loved that WWE basically was making fun of itself).
Only reason I can see for being a little mad is that Austin wasn't there which did suck but how many times have we seen Austin come back, stunner, and then drink beer. If you were mad that there wasn't enough wrestling or fueds being built tune into smackdown they were promoting way to much stuff coming in to have time for that.
I just dont think you can name another Raw where there was about 6-7 great moments.

They really should have had Teddy put that match together somehow just for the hell of it, even if it is a smackdown signature match.

Loved it.
Kane & Taker Reuniting Punk's Heel Turn Full DX Triple H, Stephanie, Lesnar, and Heyman segment The Rock Lita (who looked realllllllllllllll sexy) Trish (also looking good) Mae Young and Mark Henry's Son.... all grown up!
All great moments. Lack of Austin but I'm sure he will be back for the 20th Anniversary.
And for now, since RAW is three hours, the in ring wrestling will get more time!

It was a good show for the attitude era fans. I'm willing to bet most that didn't like it weren't around during that time period, which is where the show was majorly based of off. I loved it.

Not the best RAW, but definitely an enjoyable one for me. Got some surprises. Austin not being on it definitely was shocking and kind of a let down for me, but it was still good.

It was good,..but not the ebst ever like I've seen some say. my fave parts was DX, mae Young's hand all grown up, the legends beating up slater. The Rock ... disapointed no Austin though. Disapointed in the main event was hoping it would end cleany one side or another.

It was good, but not great. There was more segments than wrestling. Half of Raw was good the other half was crap. And by the other stuff being crap I mean the backstage segments (except the hand returning which was funny as hell), the twitter, the commercials, Charlie Sheen, Lita looking hot, but wanted someone else to be the last legend to return, brodus, and other stuff that went on that wasn't great nor good. They had all the time with 3 hours, but put a bunch of nonsense that shouldn't have been there. Could have saved some more time for the main event. Punk turning heel was the highlight of the show.

The segments REALLY didn't flow tonight. Between all the commercials and all of the social media bullsh*t, the show is getting really choppy and just doesn't flow smoothly from one segment to another.

I'm fairly certain when most people from the UK (or any other country) say they disliked the show is down to pure tiredness. I wasn't that tired last night and found the show thoroughly enjoyable, while in the past I've had to re-watch shows because I knew I wasn't paying much attention/not appreciating the show when I was watching the live viewing because of being tired.
But yes, I really enjoyed the show last night. Seeing guys like X-Pac & Billy Gunn whom I grew up watching again was a joy to see. The HHH/Heyman/Stephanie segment was my favourite part of the show. To be fair the only thing the show lacked was decent matches but with such a starstudded show I wasn't expecting them to be 5-star classics.
