get both and do a torso swap for a black/pink and a pink/black Hitman. If that's not possible, I'd go with the DM

Ringsides version is my favorite era of Hitman. The jacket looks awesome and the attire is very well done.

Honestly, it's just a matter of preference. As far quality goes, both figures are pretty much equal. Both have awesome accessories, accurate and detailed deco and are just plain ole' awesome.
I love both, but I started watching wrestling at the tail end of 96 so 1997 was my first full year as a hardcore WWF addict, so that time holds a place in my heart. The DM Bret represents him from that era (my favorite era of Bret) so I have to go with that figure by a hair.

The DMs Bret is probably my favorite of the entire DMs line. Such an awesome figure imo. I'm meh on the exclusive.

Love the DM Bret, easily one of the best efforts from Mattel so far. The RSC exclusive is great too once you strip off the big pink leg sleeves, but I'm not a fan of that plastic jacket...it should have been the faux leather material again like the DM jacket was...those couple of bad decisions on the exclusive gives the DM the edge to me.
