I know I read about this somewhere but if you were Mattel and you see this problem why not turn to Mattel shop for help. Put the Figures on the site. Not the limited amount that they do, but stock them there so people get the figures. To me this doesn't seem so hard. You would know what you need by what people buy. Still sell at retail but also use mattel shop to its full potential. Or do they want to cater to the scalpers so there is more value to the hard to find figures?

I found hitting stores restocks is the key.. when they restock that is. Ive found mostly all my stuff in retail, i think its area based.. now dont get me wrong , we are full of Rey and Cena and Orton thankfully kinda sells around here. But Elites sell somewhat good around here. Well with me buying them also only helps my stores restock value. We had E13 for months... skipped E14.....restocked E15 !! So its how fast stores order WWE figs. This has been covered already , its not so much Mattel distrubution , its STORE ordering Mattel. Its all computer based... its almost uncontrolable really !! Yes. But stores are not going to order more when there shelves are already flooded with Cena's and Orton's. Mattel has put out so many SIMILAR figures, that no one wants or needs them. They are like a giant turd that won't flush. Stores are very rarely restocking or ordering more stuff.

the walmarts & Targets by me are DEAD for figs. never get anything new. samwe Rey's/Cena's and a few other scragglers no one wants. the two TRU's have the same old stuff. get a case here and there, good ones are gone IMMEDIATLY (employees having friends buy them for ebay). I have yet to find Kane, Yoko, Deisel, or Nash. and I only collect flash backs.
but some how, this will be our fault for poor sales, and Mattel will have to scale down again due to thier mistakes.

probably because we can't find them on the shelves Not to jump on the bandwagon, but I have to agree with this. I'm not the most die-hard, dedicated figure hunter out there, but it seems whenever I go to a store and look in the toy isle the WWE Mattel stock is depleted or just full of Rey and Cena figures. I only buy very few Mattel figures anyway so it makes it even less when I just can't find them.

Yeah my Walmart was doing a great job at restocking and getting in the latest series but now they have E14 Cena x 5, E14 Taker x 4 and a recently returned E8 Taker switcheroo. Now they have at least 10 figures showing in inventory.

Mattel needs to make figures of wrestlers diehard, attitude fans like for instance Undertaker, HHH, Punk, HBK not of shelf warmers like Cena, Rey and Orton. It's simple business - supply & demand, not supply & no demand.

Exactly, make the rare figures less rare, if they're selling for a fortune on the secondary market Mattel isn't getting any of it.
Stop making Cena, Rey and Orton figures!!!

They will probably just claim that sells aren't that good and discontinue a line. Like they did with the Legends. Just kidding....
You can't buy something that's not there. I am almost to the point I don't even go in certain stores looking for stuff anymore.

Maybe if they release newer figures in Canada instead of the same five series since 2010, they wouldn't have an 8% decrease in profit...

Sales are down, I can't imagine why? thats why i haven't gotten figs for COO Triple H yet. Can't justify spending money on Cena's I have zero use for.
