I can see now, the paint looks really sloppy, try and use less coats of it.

The paint job looks rough in these pictures, though it may look better in person. I'm looking into starting some customs for the first time and there seems to be some great paint tips around the forums that could help us both out. This will probably be better than my first attempt so keep at it.

nice attempt. Dilute your paint and do thin coats. Take your time and it will pay off

It's very sloppy & messy, but good start and practice!

people always say use less coats, but dont! use 1 coat, let it dry. then paint over it, let it dry. repeat that method until you have the correct colour that covers what ever was underneath. the ammount of coats you use doesn't greatly effect the outcome (unless your doing like 10 coats)
another thing, the amount of paint you have on your brush is crucial if you have a blob of paint its not gonna turn out well.
small amounts and lots of coats. a large amount and 2 coats will look bad.
I see you've got excess yellow on the thighs, I suggest using a blunt pen knife blade to scratch it off, LIGHTLY! very lightly run the blade over the area and it'll come off nicely without leaving a mark.
for straight lines, either pencil on a line by hand then paint in the gap or use tape. a high grade H pencil will do the trick, but I've also used tile pencil (which rubs off extremely easy if you cock up) and even eyeliner!
