Oh wow those are looking great. Especially Stinger. IF you are doing to decal the scorpion any time, I drew up the scorpion as accurate as I could do. So it would need filing in with the colour you want and change the size.
Do you have a picture of how it was when you first bought it?

Here you go Bandy - I really don't think it's that bad. I still have to hollow out the head a little more, but you get the idea This is what I got so far - Head comparison with other Mattels -

All of those look great, man. What's the recipe for Luger? I just bought a Ring Masters figure on eBay and want to find the right body to use for him.

I think Lugar's skin matches up with Triple H

I think Lugar's skin matches up with Triple H Mine doesnt match up remotely close at all. Its lighter then Triple H torso and also Cena torso....I dont know if I got a error luger or what but its not remotely close.

I guess I lucked out because my Toybiz Luger head did match up with Elite 1 Triple H. If you look at Dean's Luger's the skin tones do match as well so maybe you should try buying another Luger if you can Nirvo?
PJ: Thanks for the more detailed pics of your Sting - I had the exact same idea about E13 Edge tights but he has the molded kicks on his calves so you'd have to replace and paint-match or sand down somehow ~ unless of course you intended to give Sting kickers.
I honestly can't say I'm fond of the evolution of Sting head, at least not the screaming scan, it's just something about the headsculpt that makes it look too narrow and blocky. But hey if we all liked the exact same thing it wouldn't be nearly as nice as seeing other people's take on things.

From the land of the rising sun...Gary Hart and his J-Tex Corporation give to you... The Great Muta 'Tis my first attempt at painting so be gentle. Not as smooth or "factory" as I'd like it to be but I tried. Big thanks to Kingdomofmadness89 for sending me reference pics of Muta's face-paint: Muta vs Sting Funaki's head was the cheapest option I had available, but I'm not sure how I feel about the spraggly hair bangs, it's just not "Muta" exactly. Finally here are your contestants for Starccade '89's Iron Man Tournament!

Muta is awesome. That's just a Referee Shawn body right? Parts work nice. The head painting isn't as bad as you think. If you bring the black down on the right side (while look at a pic) down just a bit, it'd line up perfect.
I didn't see a recipe in the rest of the thread. What did you use for your Luger?

Your Muta is killer Bandy. I do agree about the bangs, but without molding new ones there isn't much you can do. You paint looks good also. Nice touch with the mist dripping out.

Awesome Muta! I was wondering what you were planning on doing with that Funaki.

Thanks guys! honestly the camera is hiding the detail - the white paint is a little rough in places, really nothing "factory" like if Mattel were to run the paint job through one of their fancy paint machines in China. For the black, I used a paint pen, which made it easy to do the Japanese writing and even his raccoon eyes. Muta is awesome. That's just a Referee Shawn body right? Parts work nice. The head painting isn't as bad as you think. If you bring the black down on the right side (while look at a pic) down just a bit it'd line up perfect. I didn't see a recipe in the rest of the thread. What did you use for your Luger? It's only after looking back at the reference pics did I notice the black is too wide. I should narrow it down, but will have to do that now with white on a paint brush.

y'know I'm looking at that Yoshi Tatus head and wondering if I snip down that blonde hair and repaint it black, if it wouldn't make a good Muta face too..
