I liked his old attire it made him stand out and to me it just fit the Miz character better.

trunks are what most main eventers wear, he changed to fit the wwe bill of main event wrestlers. only a few people eg cena, angle didnt/dont wear trunks and became main eventers. What about. Bret Hart Untertaker Kane Shawn Michaels He looks like an adult with his current attire, not a kid who won a shopping spree from a Hot Topic. God no, he looks like a legit wrestler now not a indy goofball Kurt Angle Bret Hart UNDERTAKER HBK Never looked like Indy goofballs Guys like CM Punk, Chris Hero are all guys who switched their attires to look more Main Event. Guys like Kane and Cena get by because their attires are such big parts of their characters, same could be said for some one like Gangrel or the Big Bossman |

Flame away on this idea... Miz eventually wins a World Title again and then the next week he comes out dressed like 2008 Miz and claims that he only changed his look to be noticed, but now that he has, he can be comfortable again wearing what he wants and not what others expect him to wear. Another shining example of why Wf and WwE's creative team need to stay far far away from each other. Those shorts were atrocious.... good riddance. |

Not at all. There are easily just as many main eventers that didn't wear trunks. If we're talking WWE sure, but if we are just talking wrestling history trunks win by a land slide. Actually singlets are the traditional wrestling attire. |

Umm... no. As much as I am against the Black Speedo Brigade, Miz actually looks like a big boy wrestler in trunks. The shorts look was terrible.
Also, I don't think his girlfriend would ever let him dress like that in public.

I'm not the biggest fan of trunks, I think they're overused and more wrestlers should be wearing some long tights just to switch it up and not make everyone look so uniform.
However, I despised Miz's old attire. He just looked goofy and it was hard to take him seriously. His new look is much better, he actually looks legit and it just makes me take him more seriously as a wrestler.
On a similar topic, Jericho really needs to switch back to long tights.

I agree Jericho really does need to switch to tights, the tights made him look like Jericho and now he just looks like a generic guy. Also I agree that the Miz looked awful in the old attire but instead of trunks couldn't he have switched to tights or even the half ones that HHH wore in 2003? |

I dont miss the attire, but when I see it I think of the Dirt Sheet days. Miz & Morrison were awesome. Probably the last great tag team.
