I loved that too. I'm sure we can think of something. We could get Travis Henry's kids to run a sack race.

So I never got the email, but hopped onto LeagueSafe.com and made the payment regardless. Gotta love typing "YES" to agree with everything. And the 19th works totally fine for me.

Looking online there are several online random draft order generators. You enter in all of the teams and their email addresses. It then generates the order and sends the results to all participants. I would trust Kliq to do that.
We also need to talk rosters and scoring.

I would trust Kliq to do that. We also need to talk rosters and scoring. I would like to see QB Passing TDs at 6pts, while 1pt for 25yds passing. I would like to see receptions for .5pt or 1pt. I would like to have 1 IR spot

I'm fine with whatever scoring system and rosters that everyone wants to do. No real preference from me, so long as we don't have some idiotic thing like 3 QB's.

As far as scoring
I confess I really really hate PPR. I really prefer not to do that.
I am fine with 4 or 6 pt passing td. 1 pt per 10 yards rushing and receiving. -2 for fumbles and int 1 pt every 25 passing yards 6 PTS rushing and receiving td
Starting rosters either: 1 qb 1 rb 1 flex 2 wr 1 te 1 def 1 k
Or
1 qb 2 rb 3 wr 1 te 1 def 1 k
Or
1 qb 2 rb 1 flex 2 wr 1 te 1 def 1 k
I'm fine with IR or no IR.

Yeah, I am not a fan of limited transactions. Kliq, I ran a few tests on this website, and it seems to work just fine. www.fftoolbox.com/draft_order_generator.cfmYou just enter everyone's name and email address, and it randomly generates the draft order and emails the results to everyone so there is nothing shady going on and you can't re-do it until you get results you like, because it won't let you send more than one from your email, and everyone would see the multiple emails. I'm fine with it if you guys are, so we know where we are drafting at.

I'm good with the 19th, so that sounds good.
I don't really have any preference about rosters and scoring...like Kliquid said, as long as it's not like starting 3 QBs each week.
I'm vowing not to draft a single Cleveland Browns player this year. I always draft at least one...last year I fell into hype about Hillis. Ouch.

So it's been a few years since I've played in a league. Any suggestions outside of ESPN's videos of a place to get a refresher?

I personally don't like the "IR" slot because it's too easily abused, putting players who are not REALLY injured (for a long period) on the DL. And unless it's a keeper league, there's really no reason for a season-ending DL slot. ESPN's standard starting lineup is:1 QB 2 RB 2 WR 1 RB/WR FLEX 1 TE 1 K 1 DEF/ST I think this tends to work pretty well and it would be my suggestion. So it's been a few years since I've played in a league. Any suggestions outside of ESPN's videos of a place to get a refresher? There are a million different resources, but one that I like (and that I used to contribute to before I started getting paid for MMA writing by Bleacher Report) is FFToday.com. ESPN standard format sounds perfect to me for rosters.
I agree with the IR myself. We got rid of it in both of my IRL pay leagues. Too much arguing over who is and isn't eligible, and the NFL is terrlble about giving out official status before game time. In one league we just got rid of it and added an extra bench slot.

I'm down with either no IR, or an extra bench spot personally. And thanks for the website, Kliq.

I think we need to have 2 punter slots though, very important strategy

ESPN standard roster and the draft website sounds good to me. I'd be fine with ESPN standard scoring too. I'd rather not do PPR, but if the majority wants to then that's fine.

Shocked at the hate at PPR.
Ralpho....why are you against percentage points? I hate ties.
I also prefer a flex position.

I don't really thing fractional scoring is too complicated. It would be if we were calculating it ourselves, but when the computer is doing it, CM is right, it's basically just there to prevent ties.

I hate fractional scoring but its not a deal breaker for me, if its best and others want it then go for it
