Congrats to Jay Briscoe on finally becoming the Ring of Honor World Champion.
Too bad a lot of fans, myself included, missed the finish due to the stream failing at the WORST possible time.

Would have rather had Jacobs win or have Steen have a longer reign, but I guess I'm fine with Jay winning it.

HOLY SH*T! I was really pulling for Jay to win, but I didn't believe it would happen.

Just finished watching. Loved the event. Strong/Anderson was great, Lethal/Elgin was the match of the night and the tag title match was brilliant. Really surprised that Briscoe won the title but I'm as happy now as I was when Roddy won it. Wish it hadn't cut off before Gimme Back My Bullets, going to have to go listen it now.

It seems like they were building to Elgin beating Steen yet they give the belt to a Briscoe.

Briscoe seems like a transitional champion to me. I'm not sure how the match ended. Did SCUM turn on Steen, or anything like that? I can see them throwing the belt on Matt Hardy or something.

Steen turned on SCUM sort of. I'm excited to see Jay as champion, it's well deserved, hope Mark gets a reign eventually too.

Yeah I don't see Briscoe holding it past Border Wars.

I'm hoping he loses the belt by the RI show.
I like the guy, but I just can't buy into him being world champion.

Someone from SCUM will take the championship or Cole will join SCUM imo.

Ring Of Honor announced today that Adam Cole will challenge Jay Briscoe for his newly won ROH Title at the 5/4 Border Wars iPPV from Toronto. guy loses his TV title then gets world title match? something seems spiffy here...... The match was made weeks ago while Steen was still champion. Cole's run as TV Champ earned him the shot. The only thing made official here is that he still gets the shot promised to him while Steen was champ. Speaking of Border Wars weekend... Announced today for the iPPV: NON-TITLE: GHC Jr. Heavyweight Champion Taiji Ishimori vs. Eddie Edwards Naomichi Marufuji vs. Davey Richards the next night at the ROH TV Taping: NON-TITLE: GHC Jr. Heavyweight Champion Taiji Ishimori vs. Roderick Strong Naomichi Marufuji vs. "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin

I'd rather see Marufuji/Elgin and Ishimori/Strong on the ippv instead of tv.
