Not the best ROH ippv, but I enjoyed it throughout. Some of it was disappointing, but nothing that hurt the good stuff. In the same vein, it felt more of a build to next week than it's own show, but that was to be expect. Next week has the better card and the guys in bigger matches needed to look stronger. My match by match thoughts. ACH vs Bennett- Gave ACH some highlights and gave Bennett a decisive win going into his match with Tanahashi. Nothing mind blowing, but what it needed to be. Elgin vs.Watanabe- Some big hits, but the timing was off. Also not very long. Pretty disappointing. Briscoes vs ReDragon vs Whitmer/Jacobs- Solid, but short, three way. All the guys did a good job in the time given. Strong vs.Alexander- this is where the show really took off. Cedric is a future main eventer in ROH, and he showed us why tonight. Only downside is the only time my stream broke was during the finish to this match. Give ROH's past I'll still call that a win and a simple refresh fixed it the rest of the night. The Young Bucks vs. Forever Hooligans vs. Time Splitters- Excellent Jr. Heavyweight match, I really liked how the crowd took to Kushida. If any NJPW belt was going to change hands these shows, it would have been this one, but I don't see The Bullet Club dropping any belts in the near future. Though the Briscoes taking the tag belts next week would be cool. RD Evans vs.Bobby Cruz- ROH has had the best matches for some time. But with RD they also have the best comedy gimmick. That guy is gold on the mic. Hiroshi Tanahashi & Jushin Thunder Liger vs. Shinsuke Nakamura & Jado- The biggest disappointment of the night for me. There seemed to be no flow to the match at all. The pacing was off and everything felt disjointed. all four guys usually do better, and I'm hoping they will next week. I'm really wondering when they got here and if maybe jet lag was an issue for any of them. I know Jado and Liger are in their 40s, but I really expected them to move better than they did tonight. It hasn't been that long since I've seen them do better. Jay Lethal (c) vs. Matt Taven vs. Silas Young vs. Tommaso Ciampa- Good match, though I got up to find the phone and missed the finish. I didn't expect it to end so soon. AJ Styles & "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson vs. Kazuchika Okada & Gedo- Excellent tag match. All four guys were great, and I was a little surprised by the insane reaction Okada got. I was expecting something at or slightly above the level of the other NJPW guys, but he was almost at Liger levels. On a side note: It really bugged me how Kelly and Corino pronounced Jado and Gedo's names. The put the long and short vowels on the wrong ones. Corino has been in Japan enough to know better, especially since he actually knows both guys. At least Nigl got it right. Or close enough Kevin Steen vs. Adam Cole- Fantastic from start to finish, though a little more comedy early on than I would have liked. That kind of thing is part of why I like Steen, but didn't think it fit the angle. However, Cole's face each time he was posted was excellent. Once it got serious, it went to another level. Truly great. The finish was a little out of nowhere, but not really in a bad way. I've been saying this for a couple of years, but his heel run as champ has really proven it to me. Adam Cole is the future of professional wrestling. he will be in the main event wherever he goes.He already is in ROH and PWG, but if he went to WWE or TNA, it would be a matter of time before it happened there too. I really have never had more faith in that statement than I do with him. He has every tool to succeed and I can't wait to see what the future brings him. I also can't wait to see next week. Cole vs. Liger should be amazing. I can't wait for War of the Worlds. While I'm most excited for Cole/Liger (as stated), I'm also really excited for Okada vs. Alexander (this could be huge for Cedric), Briscoes vs. Bullet Club, which should be a while brawl, and Tanahashi vs. Bennett to see if Bennett can once again prove why he gets booked in these matches. The rest of the card also looks great, though I'm still confused as to why Coleman vs Young is on the show. I like both guys, but it doesn't fit the theme of thee night and feels like filler.

Decent show and Young Bucks stole the show as usual. The production on this show was horrendous though.

Wished Steen won the belt. Who do you guys think will take the belt from Cole? I say Elgin.

Yeah, I think Elgin is a good possibility. I can see Cole holding onto it for a good while longer before anyone takes it though.
