Elgin vs. Cedric from ROH TV this past weekend was the exact opposite of their awesome match from Dayton in March. Not sure what happened there. Elgin's matches have been boring since he won the belt. |

They've been boring for a lot longer than that I loved the match with Cedric from Dayton (went back to watch it today to see if it came across as good on DVD as it did live and it did) but past that...yeah. Not much to like about 2014 Elgin. Watanabe really does nothing for me, but im so pumped to go to the show saturday I watched his match with Hero from Smash's Rival Schools show figuring, "Hey...Hero will drag a good match out of him" and well...it was probably the worst Chris Hero match I've seen in years. I don't get why, out of all the young lions, they sent Watanabe to the States on an excursion and not Yohei Komatsu. That dude is good. |

Hero hasn't been so great since his release.....not surprised he couldn't get a good match out of Watanabe. I find both of them to be extremely boring which is surprising about Hero.

I found Watanabe boring in New Japan, which I guess is unfair since yeah he's a rookie but Yohei Komatsu is so  ing good and he's a rookie too. |

Ordered All Star Extravaganza today. Glad ROH worked out a deal to keep UStream as their iPPV provider. Aside from that one issue on the 8/6 G1 show, I never had a problem with UStream and that was more of an error with New Japan's channel than anything UStream did. It's kind of scary to imagine wrestling iPPV right now without illegal. There wasn't any real reliable way to do that stuff before them. Even WWNLive was sketchy with feeds and stuff for the first couple of years.

Watanabe does nothing for me. it's like they expect us to like him just cause he's japanese. i get it, he's on a tour of north america.. but it's very obvious he's only being booked as part of a deal |
