Apparently there are a few big names under contract through March 2022 but that’s the longest anyone is under contract. But most are done on 2021. Yeah, apparently everyone's going to get paid at least through the end of the year, extended contracts beyond that point will be paid through 3/31.

If I was WWE, I'd put Quinn McKay in NXT as an interviewer and just retell the story ROH did with her. There's a lot of good male talent in ROH, I just don't know if WWE is going to be interested in any of them.

Hope this ROH revamp goes smooth. Most don’t think they are coming back. The promises of coming back can be for leverage so they don’t look weak or go for cheap. Also people are hearing that Sinclair canceled the tv show starting 2022, something they have denied but also because they don’t want the value to drop. But people are insistent they have heard the TV show is done being produced by Sinclair.

And the tape library is up for sale….. Man I know it's at a high asking price, but for aew specifically and in terms of launching a video library, it might be worth it

Definitely sounds like by all accounts whether they come back or not that Sinclair is finished with it. Meltzer had a pretty in depth overview of the situation and how Sinclair was nearing their end with dealing with it during the pandemic but they stuck with it up to this point but they are just bleeding money right now and ROH is a money loser for them.

The Briscoes in AEW would be awesome, lots of great teams for them to work with there.

Their current GCW run will be fun I think. They have so much talent and charisma, and so many landing spots, part of me wants to see them in Japan or Mexico for awhile before hitting AEW. I suspect maybe NWA, or even MLW might be a shot for awhile.

Sounds like Sinclair has made a deal to syndicate WOW women of wrestling. It’s Viacom, not Sinclair.

It’s Viacom, not Sinclair. They own it, but Sinclair is going to syndicate it on their stations. Syndication means it’s available to any stations in the market. It will be up to the individual stations in the market, not company wide. So not necessarily every Sinclair station will air it. Just like not every Sinclair station airs Jeopardy or Ellen.

Sad to see the end of ROH but but its been pretty much a dead company once the Undisputed Era jumped to WWE and then once AEW was announced as a company, that was the death nail.
The talent pool is pretty shallow in terms of what I would be interested in picking up from ROH but the likes of The Briscoes,Jay Lethal,Jonathan Gresham,RUSH,Bandido,McKay and Ian would pretty much be the only talents I would look to bring in if I was another company.I think the best option might be joining IMPACT or NWA for most of these talents.WWE and AEW are to load as is right now and most if not all of the ROH talent would be just lost on the card.
Times like these really wish their was someone else that had serious money that was interested in going up against Vince & Khan to create a legit 3rd company.Someone that could buy and merge ROH,IMPACT,NWA,MLW...ect all together and hand pick the best talents from those companies and mix them in with some of the current free agents on the market like Wyatt,Strowman,Aries,Murphy,Ryback,RVD...ect could make for a hell of a company to counter WWE & AEW.
With that said if this truly is the end of ROH it was a hell of a run, damn near 20 years and clearly changed the style of pro wrestling in America and more so helped to create a ton of main event caliber talents that have gone on to bigger and better things in other companies in the likes of Danielson,Joe,Rollins,Punk,Aries...ect

Isn't this exactly what Khan did to make AEW? 2. Isn't this exactly what the IWC was saying before Khan and AEW? "Times like these really wish their was someone else that had serious money that was interested in going up against Vince to create a legit 2nd company.Someone that could buy and merge ROH,IMPACT,NWA,MLW...ect all together and hand pick the best talents from those companies and mix them in with some of the current free agents on the market like..." Have we already reached the point were AEW is no longer wrestling anti-establishment? We now pine for someone/something to save us from what was originally supposed to save us?
