From August 17 to the 20th, my family and I went to Michigan (more specifically, at and around Dearborn.)
I had a lot of opportunities to go shopping, and with the bad availability of figures in Canada, I didn't want to waste them. With a $165 limit, I was prepared (lol) .
Well... I couldn't stay under my limit.
DAY ONE - AUGUST 17, 2012
DM Bret Hart. $13 at Big Lots. This figure reminds me of why I collect action figures. This figure is trulyAWESOME! one of the best there is...
I know this is a Mattel board, for Mattel action figures, but hell, I'll show my DVD's too!
I've never seen the WWE Legendary Moments DVD in Canada, so I picked it up. It was packaged with the Cena DVD for $10 at Best Buy.
The Mall was conviently located in front of our hotel. About a five minute walk at most.
There was a store called Gameplay there. I wanted to see if they had old wrestling games, but picked this up instead:
They had Basic Series 15-19 at $12.99 each. They had a few that I wanted, but I couldn't pass Layla up.
They had some of the popular figures from those series. I go back to that same store a few days later.
DAY TWO - AUGUST 19, 2012
I went to the place where the film the TV show, Hardcore Pawn. They happened to be filming that day. Since they're Jakks figures, I'm not posting individual pics of each figure.
You can find them on the Jakks board.
Went to a Thrift Store called Value World. I found two WWE puzzles packaged together for $3.
I took the gamble as pieces could've been missing. When I got back to the hotel, I made the puzzles. The Raw one was complete, but the Smackdown puzzle was missing one piece. Oh well.
Went to an FYE and saw that if you bought three DVD's you'd get a WWE duffel bag for free.
I bought the Superstar Collection DVDs for a dollar more than they would be at a Best Buy, but I can't compain because I was able to get a duffel bag.
Also went to a Target. The Yoshi figure was really cool and the detail on it was great, so I picked it up.
DAY THREE - AUGUST 19, 2012
Since there aren't any K-Marts in Canada, we can't get the Live Event Cena, so I had to pick it up. I also noticed they had two WWE portfolios.
I only wanted the one with Punk on it, but noticed the price tag on them. At 99 cents each, I picked both up.
I honestly am not a Cena fan, but TRU was having a sale. The Basics were $6.99 and I didn't want to leave empty handed because all of the stores around me in Canada only have Basic Series 8 and are $15.99.
Found this two pack at a bottom of a cart.
No, I didn't take it from someone. It was one of those carts where Wal-Mart employees put things if they see an item is not where it is supposed to be.
For example, this figure could've been put in the clothes section by a customer. A Wal-Mart employee put it in his/her cart to reshelve it later.
DAY FOUR - AUGUST 20, 2012 [THE LAST DAY]
Went back to the store I picked up the Layla at and picked these up:
Being a big fan of those two and a big fan of those figures, I had to pick those up.
Lastly, at a Thrift Store, I picked up this WCW buddy for $1.91
