Change the name of the GD to Poutine and we'll all be happy.

At some point I need to get someone to teach me how to write commentary and how to enjoy writing it. God this is tedious.

*stares, because he doesn't watch wrestling anymore* I don't either. I'm just assuming that nothing's changed.

Or you could go the Vince McMahon route and just repeat the same move over and over again.

At some point I need to get someone to teach me how to write commentary and how to enjoy writing it. God this is tedious. - I don't know if you watch sports, but if so try and emulate how games are called as opposed to just thinking of wrestling. The dynamic and roles between the play-by-play man and color commentator are more clearly defined, and as you notice they don't just say what's happening (which in this format is flat and repetitive if done too often, not to mention adds nothing new for the reader) but discuss why it happened, analyze it, talk about the players and teams, and so forth. - Ultimately the goal is to use the commentary to assist in telling the story of the match. Whatever it is you're trying to accomplish or point you want made with the match, you can use the commentators to get it over. - Make sarcastic and mean spirited comments written under the guise of the commentators but that are actually your own thoughts.

Honest. Shawn will vouch for me.

I just want to say, Mark's new pic base is so ing hot. I've been using Josh Farro for years... Oh, right. I get you. Forget I said that. Edit: Thanks for helping me find that pic base. I can never decide them myself, Shawn chose Farro for me.

I had turkey on mine. Not bad. I plan on visiting Calgary next year though, so true Quebec poutine may have to wait till that. XD And if you actually make it to Calgary, first, you'll realize there is absolutely nothing to do here. Then you'll meet me and the trip will be saved. And seriously, WFWF General Discussion: POUTINE! needs to happen for the thread title stat

That last point always makes for the most entertaining commentary.

WFWF General Discussion: POUTINE needs to happen! And if it doesn't, the WFWF superstars should stage a RAW style walkout.

Out of interest, when is the voting for the End Of Year Awards going to start? After S&S is posted?
